'Sometimes life can take a serious turn.' I've known about the 'flake' a long time. Most of my friends know about the flake. I survived many an acute flake and I've helped many people through acute flakes. The deep flake is the worst. But, for the last 5 years I've experienced chronic flakeage, like, non-stop 7 on the flakeometer interspersed with an 8/9. Now, 7 might not seem high to the inexperienced flaker, but believe me, it takes it's Eckhart toll so bad when there's never any let up. Human Bean's aren't designed to flake for so long. We're built to have a flake, then rest and repair, but I've forgot how to do that. Eventually, chronic 7s turn into the flakeometer not even being able to detect the level of flakeage, and I wouldn't wish it on anyone, sadly, it's my reality. This is what that song is about. I've uploaded it on a dark, waning crescent moon. What a fool I am. 'A wise fools game, it's always the same.' Only Jude the Obscure once tried something along these lines. It's such a dodgy move. it was always gonna be this way though. Bugman saw it written in the Borage tea leaves. I never learn. One day I will, I just hope it won't be too late by then. 'The flakeometer, is out of range.'

As I found structure to the piece, I could say that I had inspiration with each ad-lib key from all those dreamy scenes you would see from vintage grainy movies like that... In some of this song, I think of those lush atmospheric embroidered scenes that are glorious to get drawn into, at least in my own mind...~ This was performed on my ma's antique Piano that she received from hers.

So there's all kinds of stuff on this page, but after months of schizophrenic debates about who was playing with who and who took the lead while doing it, finally, the decision was made: all my alter egos got together and decided to form a band. From 2020 on new tracks are created under the moniker Gruppo Infernal. Only pure MMTJ tracks will still be named as such. 

Gruppo Infernal still relies on my work as Me, my Thumb and Jack, an ongoing quest for a liberating approach to sound creation where the human body acts as an oscillator amplifying the natural 50hz hum. Direct live recording, improvisations and delay loops only using analog filters and effects. No editing, no overdubs. Gruppo Infernal adds digital treatment to this original sound material. 

UnterPitch was an alter ego using samples & synths.
Bleached Coffins was a one-off project using guitars.
