Aiaiai is born from this exhausting search for new and attractive sounds. It is a song that first sounds funny and energetic: the kind of song you listen to as you walk through the streets during a sunny day feeling as if you could do anything screaming and dancing. This shiny energy mixes up with some darker, sensual and mysterious sounds that evoque the beat of a heart or someone else’s pulse close to your body. Aiaiai plays with childhood memories transforming the context in which some sounds could be heard: from a birthday party where plastic toys and candy fall from a piñata to create a chaotic symphony, to a poor lighted rave and exuberant bodies such as the cover image by New York resident and Colombian artist Mistta.

2 absolutely special tunes, that were waiting for their turn for over 2 years. Originally this reworks were made on Akai MPC 1000, only for live performing. After I posted Alicia on YouTube, a lot of people were asking me to release it. And one label took this tunes to press a vinyl. So I rebuilt them in Ableton. Due to the consequences of brexit, cost of living crisis and god knows what else, vinyl wasn’t pressed. But now they are here digitally.
