Presenting Poztman's debut album on Outtallectuals, "Blood, Steel & Rust"; a powerful tale of resilience and the human spirit’s tenacity in the face of catastrophe.

Continuing the conceptual story set in the previous Rites of Calling EP, the story follows Alix, a mentor in a once-thriving village, as he navigates the aftermath of a devastating corruption unleashed by his gifted pupil, Nyathi. Forced into exile, Alix and the surviving villagers seek refuge and a cure from the enigmatic Rust Witch. Despite their overwhelming loss, they muster the courage to confront the darkness and reclaim their village. This gripping narrative delves into themes of loss, redemption, and the strength of community, painting a vivid picture of hope amid despair and the unyielding determination to rebuild from the ashes.

Sonically, the tracks merge folklore & tribal elements with futuristic electronic music, borrowing from drum n bass, electronica, bass, garage and ambient music, while not really catering to any specific sub-genre.

Plastician delves back into the territory of dusty, broken rhythms on his latest release for Terrorhythm inside it's 21st year of operations.
 
Trance stutters, drill inspired basslines and drums with so much dirt on them they could be ripped directly off the floor of a second hand vinyl shop. It's new from Stish, but the nostalgia on this one still hits somehow, evoking memories of productions predating the Youtube tutorial era where the loudness war took it's stronghold on the majority of electronic music's output.

His very first release is the result of his long-term passion for underground sound which serves as the debut statement of his long musical journey. Expect four clever cuts of diverse grooves where breakbeat meets electro with a garage tip and blends together in a genre-melting potion. Two slow-paced uncompromising body-movers full of shuffling rhythms, dystopian riffs and ever-enveloping bass intertwine carefully with spacious thought-provoking ethereal soundscapes and Bukem-ish synths lines built around rapid famous old-school breaks.
