Der erste Schnee

Zum ersten Mal in diesem Jahr fällt Schnee. Die weißen Flocken haben im Schnitt die Größe von 2 Euromünzen und erinnern in ihrer Gesamtheit an frisch gesiebten Puderzucker. Der Schnee kommt bei diesem Schauspiel der Natur in Schüben. Manchmal blickt man aus dem Fenster und sieht einfach nur einen blass blau-grauen Himmel. Beim nächsten Mal hingegen sieht man wildtanzende Eiskristalle, die sich scheinbar unorganisiert und desorientiert ihren Weg zur Erde bahnen. 
Schneefall mit allem was dazu gehört sehen wir in unseren Breitengraden immer seltener. Dementsprechend ist und bleibt der Anblick eines solchen Gezeitenphänomens ein Event und definitiv ein Blickfang. Intensives starren in das Schneegeschehen wirkt ähnlich entspannend wie das hypnotische Flackern eines Kamin- oder Lagerfeuers. Also ein warmes Getränk der Wahl zur Hand und Augen auf für Mutternatur.

Joe Carl verewigt sich mit diesem Live Set auf KataHaifisch. Wie es der Name bereits impliziert, wurden für diese Komposition nur eigens produzierte Werke verwendet. Der einheitliche und dennoch vielseitige Stil zieht sich durch den gesamten Podcast. Dabei kommen die unterschiedlichen Grooves, Stimmungen und Akzente wunderbar zur Geltung. Die Nummer 244 macht definitiv Lust auf den Sommer, Sonne und ein unbeschwertes Tänzchen am Sandstrand.

Primarily she is working with @planetibiza, operating hand in hand with its founder, Mike Chrom, on the large panel of activities this complete platform develops.

Besides being a DJ, writer, label manager, podcast curator and more, she is also a visual artist, whose art can is recognized at first sight. 

Her set covers catches one’s eyes before her vibes take you in on one of her wonderful musical trips.

Transcendent and medicinal, her exquisite musical journeys transport you to a heavenly place.

Music is her spiritual language, her language of love. With it, she encourages us to “smile bright, breath deep, and live in the here & now.”

We also do not want to abstain from the podcast game on Soundcloud and start our series "Striped" with a set by Andi & Moritz.

The two friends have lived together for many years and have accompanied each other on their musical path. In the early morning of a fusion festival, Moritz was surrounded by sounds that were unfamiliar to him at the time and he wondered where this mysterious music was coming from all of a sudden. He brought this experience back home and after extensive online research, a new passion was quickly found. Andi was also very enthusiastic about the new possibilities that the slower tempo opened up for him when producing new music and so the common love for the slower spheres of electronic music solidified over the years. 
In the meantime, this has resulted in many shared memories that they still remember fondly today! 

We are happy to start our series this way and the set contains newer housy influences as well as a journey into the musical youth of the two!

Striped #1 - Deep Ändi & schwalheim

Our next podcast comes from @elbatos, who evokes summery feelings in us. In the next 2 hours you can expect warm melodies that raise serotonin levels. One or the other deep driving beat provides the necessary variety for the ear. Listening to the mix we realize how much we miss loud bass and dancing under clear skies. So it's good that the festivals will start again soon.

By the way: El Batos is part of the @ketoga family, which organizes the @moynmusik Festival. So if you are also longing for outdoor fun in the sun, you definitely have to check them out.

But enough talk for now. It's time for the music to speak.

Here it is - the live-cut of my morning set on the brand new 'Theater' floor at Mensch Meier. When I got there in the morning, I was really blown away by the beauty of probably one of the most stunning floors I've ever played on, with the most crisp sound. Fresh sun rays shooting right across the room, wrapping everyone up in a warm morning coziness, providing all dancers with new energy to continue moving. And so it happened that, after a rather calm tribute to peace in my intro (in particular with respect to the current situation in Ukraine 🇺🇦), I quickly picked up more and more driving energy during the set and it partly ended up being a wild journey, with a smoother comedown in the end. Thank you all for your dancing vibes - you really got me going that morning!! 

I think from the imperfection in parts of the mix, you can probably tell when people were coming up to say hi, I was exchanging smiles and kisses with friends, or when I was just so much soaked by the atmosphere of the moment that I got distracted here and there. But that's what playing live is all about - FEELING the magic that is happening around you and being present in the very moment. And I am very thankful for being able to experience this again.

Big shoutout to the @ramschakl crew for creating this magical space and for letting me be part of it. And to all friends who came along for my belated birthday Sektfrühstück. What a gift!
