This is the last song I wrote for the EP, and paradoxically, the first one that I finished, so it ended up shaping the sound of the entire project. This song came to me in a flash at 3am while trying to sleep, and I rushed to my phone's notes app to somehow transcribe in terms I would understand the notes and sounds I had in my head. The final result is somehow very close to that initial spark, something pretty rare for me, as I'm usually very transformative of my original ideas, and a definite rarity in this project, as it's the only song with no heavy modifications since it was originally sketched. I'm happy about how it came out and the statement it displays. Shoutouts Must Die for liking the chords on the bridge. Also shoutouts Oshino Ougi.

Crazy! First time ever my "vocals" are present on a song. I have a very strange relationship with my voice and my singing, but after a few months of listening to a particular subset of weird rappers, I felt inspired to do something in that vein. This is another one of the Ship of Theseus songs, as everything besides the first verse was scrapped and worked anew. The end result is something that is both my hardest hitting song, but also feels... enveloping, somehow? It's a pretty personal song for me, and I'm glad I went as intensely as I did.

In a similar vein to my previous EP, the first song is always a big statement and some kind of "flex track" to showcase everything I have going on. After some jazz-fusion inspired shenanigans in the previous project, now it's time for an entire orchestra. You know, just because. I was inspired by a performance I saw of my city's orchestra playing the second Shéhérazade by Ravel, and that inspired me deeply to make an orchestral arrangement. Like almost everything about this EP, I ended up changing most of the drop if not all of it, and now it actually sounds great. All in all I'm very happy I'm even able to achieve this. Special thanks to Inverted Silence for the invaluable help shaping the orchestra's sounds.

Now this one is funny! I originally made this track as a rip-off of an Akeos tune all the way back in 2021, and ended up featuring it on my 2022 showcase. This was the last song from there that was left to release, but it suffered a complete metamorphosis. Two years later, after the insistence of my friend and fellow artist Chocographix, and Akeos herself liking it, I resumed work, and I scrapped the original intro to make a newer, better one. And after a while... I decided to also scrap the drop, and make a newer, better one. So between the original song and the actual final one. There's literally nothing in common, besides both being in 135BPM. You've ever heard of the Ship of Theseus?
