French-based duo The Dualz return to Anjunadeep with their ‘Inside Me EP’. Having previously released on labels including Ben Böhmer’s Ton Töpferei, Way Of House and Parquet, Kevin and Geoffrey affirm their strong chemistry as producers with three stand-out melodic house tracks.

Opening the EP is title track ‘Inside Me’, first heard on Anjunadeep 11, which features a gorgeous lead vocal layered with a bouncing percussive groove. ‘Day By Day’ is filled with dark fluttering arpeggios whilst closing track ‘Beyond’ leads with a dreamlike vocal accompanied by pulsating synths.

'In 2020, no artist contributed more music to Silk Music than Meeting Molly, whose cinematic compositions blend a variety of deep, progressive, and organic house grooves and atmospheric textures. His first offering of 2021, the two-track “Jangitau" release, is a breathtaking house EP, which once again showcases his immense talent for crafting visionary, ethnic electronic soundscapes.

Meeting Molly’s stirring “Lilly Goes Her Own Way” is an especially memorable composition. In the early going, organic percussion and hauntingly beautiful strings provide the backdrop for a repeating vocal chant. The suspenseful buildup in the opening few minutes gives way to a heartrending vocal sequence in the main breakdown, supported by especially poignant orchestration. In the final movement of the arrangement, the central groove reemerges and delivers a cathartic emotional release to the listener.'

A friendship is one thing, but continuous development is vitally important. This is why the fellows decided not to take a break at the level of current achievements and grounded their own record label. «By the times someone discovers the points of coincidence with the colleagues not only in terms of business, but also creative sphere – that is always a positive experience! – Unification of musical efforts in frames of one label is our next and by no means unimportant step in creative self-fulfillment».

It is important to mention that the quad is not going to limit the newborn imprint’s catalog only with own productions. Intricate Records is also a promising platform for implementation of creative aspiration of other talented producers who feel themselves on the same wave quite often.

«Right at the moment there is no single record label which coincides with my musical taste and general conception, which I would like to see being embodied. Starting a new imprint with the fellow guys, I’m looking forward to the having the possibility of fulfilling myself as an A&R-manager and making the current musical world at least a little bit better. We are going to collaborate with our friends and associates from around the world. I certainly believe, if such projects are held with well-intentioned mood and built on relations of friendship, there are certain chances to make something special and terminative».
