His late 2012 Manual Music release 'Tau Am Morgen' is still being played and supported until this very day, not in the last place because of the brilliant Marc Poppcke remix which came with that single. But now the time has come for the long awaited return of Heinrich Mendez within the Manual family. This time he stands on his own two feet with two brand new tracks 'Mystery Trip' and 'October Lights' on our MNL label. Trademark dark and moody progressive techno sounds. Ideal music to take you on a trip.

We are happy to welcome Dustin Nantais on board for his first full EP within the Manual family; 'Dark Corner EP'. This awesome Toronto based producer has already delivered a fine remix for the Fatso release on our MNL label not too long ago and who could have missed his rework for Feist's 'Caught A Long Wind' which turned quite some heads!

The EP starts out with the 'Beginnings' track, quite the suitable title for your first ever release on MNL don't you think? It's a subtle and warm deep house tune which takes you on a journey through fluffy clouds, sandy beaches and idyllic landscapes. Dream mode on!

The title track 'Dark Corner' is a bit more rough and rugged but still captivates that undeniable dreamy flow. Cleverly arranged, this song slowly but surely reaches peak time dance floor euphoria as soon as the final break kicks in. One word: bomb!

A great debut by Dustin Nantais here, one of many more to come we hope!

Nearly one year after his release on Cinematique, Julio Largente returns to the Manual family with a brand new release. This time he drops his new single 'Haiku' on our MNL label and his friend Dartek tags along on remix duties.

'Haiku' is a mysterious, deep and haunting song build around a cleverly constructed and driving arpeggiator. Where Julio keep things in the deep, fellow Buenos Aires resident Dartek adds a dose of funk to his rework, using the elements of the original to maximum effect.

Schodt has been one of the leading musicians on Silk since the label's inception, so we were especially thrilled to present his debut artist album ("Darkness | Light") on Silk Royal last year. One of our favorite tracks on the release was "The Difference In You", which we presented as a bonus track on the iTunes edition. Two internationally acclaimed veterans in our niche, Robert Nickson (a.k.a. RNX) and Blugazer, now offer their visionary interpretations.

A true legend in our industry, thanks to many classic works over the past decade prominently featured on "A State of Trance", Robert Nickson is a proud addition to the roster of our parent label. His remix jets out of the gate with a hypnotic arpeggio, adrenalin-fueled rhythm section, and stormy bassline. Of course, soon to follow is the exhilarating vocal stab sequence from the original mix, as well as a euphoric chord progression. In the main break, Robert adds a few brilliant touches: celestial pads and a heavenly new lead.

Blugazer, another tremendous talent who has dazzled trance & progressive audiences for a few years now, offers an inspiring rework of the original, replete with numerous melodic and vocal variations. A chunky groove and a few gorgeous vocal stabs punctuate the introduction, with the memorable main themes not far behind. Yet, the main break is undoubtedly the highlight of this one, as a gentle breakbeat lays the foundation for a breathtaking emotional climax. The combination of the new piano lead and vocal elements is deeply moving and truly unforgettable.

A friendship is one thing, but continuous development is vitally important. This is why the fellows decided not to take a break at the level of current achievements and grounded their own record label. «By the times someone discovers the points of coincidence with the colleagues not only in terms of business, but also creative sphere – that is always a positive experience! – Unification of musical efforts in frames of one label is our next and by no means unimportant step in creative self-fulfillment».

It is important to mention that the quad is not going to limit the newborn imprint’s catalog only with own productions. Intricate Records is also a promising platform for implementation of creative aspiration of other talented producers who feel themselves on the same wave quite often.

«Right at the moment there is no single record label which coincides with my musical taste and general conception, which I would like to see being embodied. Starting a new imprint with the fellow guys, I’m looking forward to the having the possibility of fulfilling myself as an A&R-manager and making the current musical world at least a little bit better. We are going to collaborate with our friends and associates from around the world. I certainly believe, if such projects are held with well-intentioned mood and built on relations of friendship, there are certain chances to make something special and terminative».
