On remix duties is Olivier Giacomotto - who carefully threads the boys’ original mix through his powerful, House-meets-Techno filter - respectfully re-purposing ‘Hindsight’ for a post-Covid world and peak-time dance-floor.

PREMIERE: Galestian Feat. Sebu - Hindsight (Extended Mix) [Global Entry Recordings]

With his long-awaited debut on ICONYC Noir we welcome Arthur Galestian to the label. Arthur who hails from the USA and Berlin based delivers a slice of summer vibes titled 'All for You'. He opens proceedings with his original track. Melancholic moodiness is the name of the game, as we meander effortlessly through club inspired melodies, while the sultry chords sit wonderfully on top adding an extra layer of depth. The highlight is without doubt the amazing vibe the track emits to elevate it to another level. Classy stuff from Galestian.

Anton Make, who needs no introduction created a rework full of tension from the word go, as the atmospheric vibe subtly keeps you moving with warm tinkling sounds, a smooth edge and some nicely effected sounding pieces. We basically have the formula for a bit of a monumental outing. The sparseness is the key here, as this restrained gem works its magic while it plays away, creating a warm glow, creating an air of sophistication. "Essential stuff!"

Next up we are very excited to welcome K Loveski, who marks his debut on the label with a classy remix for the ages, the Russian producer who is known for his deep melodic progressive influenced sounds, keeps the ethereal theme of the original alive. It's all about the groove, cool house vibes and the deep driving beats that are working their magic around K Loveski's wonderfully arranged keys and the wonderful use of the epic chords.

Galestian's 'All for you' sees a worldwide release on July 9th, 2021 via every well-known digital content provider. Not to be missed.

Galestian's Global Entry Recordings presents its second release with Galestian and featured vocalist Denitia coming together on "One". Galestian, who has previously collaborated with Grammy-nominated artists such as Paul Oakenfold and Capital Cities frontman Sebu, presents an ethereal deep house production which feels as good on the dance floor as it does at home.
Cool and calm, melancholy yet soothing, Denitia's dreamy vocals add a layer of depth to an other-worldly sonic soundscape. The New York-based singer/songwriter's work has been heralded by publications such as The New York Times, The Guardian, Pitchfork, Stereogum, and NPR, all while enjoying regular rotation on BBC Radio playlists.
Matan Caspi joins Global Entry Recordings with a special rework of the tune, giving it a unique retro spin combined with his famed progressive sound. Matan rose from Israel's thriving underground electronic music scene, becoming one of Beatport's "Best Progressive House Artist" nominees for four consecutive years – and one of the genre's highest charting artists to date.

Harder rhythmic lines are brought to easy fruition as German mastery returns via the superlative sounds of Unique Repeat and their "Movements". Warm bass undertones permeate the consciousness with their flowing, rasping presence, ever shifting. Melody like smoke drifting on the mild zephyr rises upwards in interlocked beauty. Phenomena caps off an incredible year with a new EP from label boss Solid Stone. The Canadian artist has continued to develop a distinctive sound across 2019. In combining fresh rhythmic concepts with tight grooves and astral aesthetics, the Montreal resident has continued to receive support from Adriatique and Tale Of Us. Now landing back on his Phenomena imprint to complete a stellar year, Solid Stone presents the two track offering ‘Lotus’.

Continuing to diversify his portfolio, Solid Stone explores a deeper, more hypnotic sensibility on the title cut ‘Lotus’. Tight beats, electric rhythms and dramatic tones begin the six minute journey. Senses heighten as layers of percussion and atmospheric drifts unite across a devilish first act. As the main break begins to take shape an indistinct vocal furthers the narrative, with rising modulation creating a sinister tonal tension, opening up with each successive loop, before reaching a tasteful apex and stripped re-entry.

The companion piece ‘Sworn Seven’ follows a similar minimalistic ethos, making it the perfect complement to its predecessor. Sitting at the heart of the piece is a tranquil arp and ghostly vocal fragment, perfectly set up by a punchy groove, clattering percussion and hazy atmospherics. Ominous and intriguing, it’s arcane nature is inviting, becoming fully realized during the main break, as tasteful modulation melts down to a gentle purr and effortlessly segues into a meditative finale.

In a year filled with memorable productions, Solid Stone may have saved his most astute work for its final offering, with both ‘Lotus’ and ‘Sworn Seven’ elevating the Canadian’s unique sonic philosophy once again.

About the artist
LA-born and Berlin-based, Galestian’s roots in electronic dance music stretch back to LA’s underground music scene of the 1990s. He began making a name for himself on KUCI 88.9 FM in 2003, where he opened the studios to world-renowned artists such as Carl Cox, Dubfire, Above & Beyond, and Armin van Buuren.
His distinctive music style remains difficult to pin down, covering a wide spectrum of melody-infused genres like deep and progressive house, melodic techno, and beyond.
