One of the many aliases that I used back in the days was ‘Moonman’. The first track that saw a release under this project name was in the year 1996, when ‘Don’t Be Afraid’ came out.

One of the tracks on the B-side of the vinyl, was "Galaxia". The reactions on "Galaxia" were really good, so the record company decided to release "Galaxia" later on as a separate track with some new remixes as well.

Early 2005 I made an updated version of "Galaxia" so I could spin it in my DJ sets. And later I decided to include it on my L.E.F. album as well.

Next month I will let you all pick another production / remix of me and I will upload the most requested one to Soundcloud as well then.

The title cut, "Went Too Far," takes off with a set of frisky percussion layers and hypnotizing background stabs. Soon thereafter, outstanding bassline notes emerge, brilliantly accompanied by a lush, female vocal. Silk Music welcomes Russian singer and songwriter DASHANIKON, who showcases her unique voice with "Somebody Like You." On remix detail, we welcome back venerable label residents LTN (Indonesia) and Cloudive (Russia), who provide soulful and evocative progressive and deep house remixes.

Up first is LTN's 'Sunrise' Vocal Remix, which takes off on a soothing note -- blissful, subtle piano notes and calm percussion elements create a hypnotizing soundscape. DASHANIKON's beautiful vocals blend perfectly well with the different melodic layers, and numerous synth variations and sound effects spice up the mix even more.

Cloudive's take includes strong percussion lines, mesmerizing synth stabs, and brilliant vocal textures. In the main break, we witness fascinating melodies with DASHANIKON's gorgeous vocals on top. Later, a groovy and joyful theme lead starts to dominate the mix, taking the song to another level.

The stories behind the EP:

Will I Ever Find Love - I wrote this record after I developed quite strong feelings for someone, but the person did not have the same feelings back for me. I’m usually a very happy person, but this experience put me in quite a dark place at the time, which is when I wrote this track. Having never been in a serious relationship with anyone, this track represents the feeling of wondering if you will ever find the one.

Downpour - This record was written in October of 2016 soon after my graduation from Duke University when I was living with family east of San Francisco (in a town called Danville). To clear my mind, I would take walks on a mountain called Mt. Diablo, conveniently about 5-10 minutes away. I get far more inspired from foggy/rainy weather than when it is sunny, so I usually went on long hikes when a rainstorm would be forecasted. One morning I was hiking on the mountain, there was a massive rainstorm, and the fog and the clouds provided some gorgeous views. Later that afternoon, I started “Downpour” based on this experience.

Tassajara - This record was actually written a day or two after Downpour in October of 2016, still with the initial inspiration of fog and rain from my mountain hiking. At the time, I was writing music some 12-16 hours a day, with a single break in the middle of the day for lunch. The main road I would take to get lunch was called “Camino Tassajara.” One day on my way back from lunch, I was testing what is now “Tassajara” on my car’s sound system, when I glanced at a street sign, and the name fit perfectly.

Paradoks stormed the underground scene earlier this year through a massive single collaboration with Ubbah and Lunar Plane that was released by the legendary Parquet Recordings. 'Fluctus' gained strong support from names such as Lane 8, Solee, Darin Epsilon and Township Rebellion, paving it's way towards the selected TOP 10 Progressive House single charts on Beatport. 

Now it's time for Paradoks to showcase to the world his first lone EP, with three brilliant tracks that will immediately impress any melodic underground mind.
Title single 'Eternal' will capture the dance floor through its strong grooves that mix perfectly with delicate piano stabs and harmony filled plucks. Second track 'Fracture' is a perfect fusion of dark atmospheres, hard techno drums and hypnotic arpeggios. And closing this amazing EP, Paradoks gives us 'Atmosfera', an amazing journey through emotionally filled melancholic melodies.

A friendship is one thing, but continuous development is vitally important. This is why the fellows decided not to take a break at the level of current achievements and grounded their own record label. «By the times someone discovers the points of coincidence with the colleagues not only in terms of business, but also creative sphere – that is always a positive experience! – Unification of musical efforts in frames of one label is our next and by no means unimportant step in creative self-fulfillment».

It is important to mention that the quad is not going to limit the newborn imprint’s catalog only with own productions. Intricate Records is also a promising platform for implementation of creative aspiration of other talented producers who feel themselves on the same wave quite often.

«Right at the moment there is no single record label which coincides with my musical taste and general conception, which I would like to see being embodied. Starting a new imprint with the fellow guys, I’m looking forward to the having the possibility of fulfilling myself as an A&R-manager and making the current musical world at least a little bit better. We are going to collaborate with our friends and associates from around the world. I certainly believe, if such projects are held with well-intentioned mood and built on relations of friendship, there are certain chances to make something special and terminative».
