For our first release of 2021 we bring you the sounds of Bristol-based Lurch. Jamie Harris has been producing drum & bass since 2012, after spending his earlier days obsessed with playing different musical instruments. His late entry into the world of raving and dance music provides a unique take on the genre, focusing more on stringed instruments and lo-fi production as opposed to many other 'modern' sounding producers in the scene.

His presence has earned releases on many different labels, including Intrigue, Med School, Flexout, Soul Deep, Celsius and Flight Pattern to name only a handful. He has received continuous support from LTJ Bukem, Bailey, Fabio, Random Movement, Intrigue head honcho Ben Soundscape and many many others, in recognition of his soulful and instrument based sound.

His varied and musically orientated 'Sun It May Rise' EP is but the latest showcase of Lurch's skill in the d&b genre, and sits proudly in the Intrigue catalogue with more to follow in the future.

With a deep-rooted background in drum & bass, Komodo is known for delivering captivating sets that navigate a range of intricate rhythms and sounds. His journey started after discovering Brisbane’s underground DNB scene and outdoor events in SEQ, which had him hooked immediately and ignited his passion to start mixing. These grassroot gatherings and events still guide his musical evolution—and keeps him grounded in the community that inspired him.

Over the years, he developed his sound and style, crafting journeys that flow through genres such as DNB, 140 and halftime. Komodo has shared the stage with international artists including Paige Julia, Hypho, PAV4N, S.P.Y., General Levy, Mungo’s Hifi, and Halogenix, and performed at notable festivals including Imbolc in South Australia, Initiation Festival over New Year's Eve in 2023/2024 and Archaic Gathering in North Queensland. With each set he remains committed to evolving, looking for ways to creatively push boundaries and deliver captivating performances.

Soulful drum & bass stalwart Fluid Form is a producer and deejay hailing from the sun-kissed beaches and emerald waters in the panhandle of Florida, USA. Heavily influenced by the atmospheric, jazzy, funky, soulful and deep side of dnb, he draws inspiration from past, present and future soundscapes. Fluid Form crafts his compositions from a unique pallate of samples, sonic layers, and atmospheric textures, blending the old school and the new school sounds with crisp drum breaks and smooth rolling basslines.

A true underground souldier and grafter, Fluid Form has been quietly building a reputable back catalog over the years and his name has been appearing with increased regularity on the dnb circuit. Climbing through the ranks and continuing to hone his production skills, he has established himself on some of the scenes freshest labels/imprints and is collaborating with some of the underground’s most revered artists.

Fluid Form continues to gain global support through his original works, his bootlegs, and his collaborations and is releasing alongside many of the same artists, DJs and labels who have inspired him over the years.
