Grand River mixes One Instrument

The marine forms abound in the sea depths, in marshes which are flooded at high tide, in shallow inlets and the muddy bottoms underlying the sandy surface of the seashore. The fresh water forms are plentiful on the mossy stones of mountain streamlets, pools bordering rivulets, dripping rocks.

For this months episode for Fango Radio, Melantónia is pleased to present Toshiki Shimada from the Berlin based collective, Dry Agency.
He chooses to play tracks which differ in style but he has consistent fashion in detail and the core - psychedelic and hypnotic sounds which are cultivated in the fertile club culture in Japan.
His play focuses on creating tension and releasing energy through creating layers.
In March of this year began his series of listening session at "Motif Wein" in Berlin Neukölln, dedicated to ambient music up to spacy jazz.

We simply can't get enough of his infectious energy and curiosity about all sounds oddly oozing, undulating, pulsing and rhythming. It is with a spirit of an explorer and primal sensibilities of a shaman that he mixes his potent potion of sounds from all continents and undiscovered planetary systems alike.

This chapter is a live recording of Ssnurssla's cassette & vinyl set captured at our gathering this January. C12 is a multidisciplinary nightclub and platform run by the Deep in House collective, located in the heart of Brussels. It's a safe place where freedom, diversity, creativity and alternative culture are protected from the restrictive and normative outside world. The project was launched in February 2018 and includes concerts, art installations, lives, club nights and exhibitions.

The Corona crisis is keeping our doors closed and dancefloor empty for several weeks now, with no hopes yet on new line-ups and crowds of enthusiastic dancers. But this unprecedented situation isn’t holding us still. Continuing to support our local Brussels and Belgian electronic music scene, C12 is proud to announce its own label with 10 music compilations dubbed Social Distancing. All artists involved are Belgian or strongly connected to the Brussels scene. Confirmed are Le Motel, Stellar OM Source, A.Brehme, Front De Cadeaux, Davy, OCB Casa Voyager, Cabasa, Techno Thriller, Orphan Swords, Different Fountains, Bear Bones Lay Low, Gols, Hadone, ... and our residents Session 4000, Kafim & Chris Ferreira. Compilations will also be curated by female artists promoting platform ‘Psst Mlle’ and queer culture collective ‘Benediction’.

Each edition consists of a collection of several tracks and will be released every two weeks, leading to a total of approximately fifty tracks. All music will be available to add on your favorite streaming service Soundcloud, Youtube, Spotify and Bandcamp. In addition for each track we offer a limited amount of 500 free downloads through our Bandcamp page, where donations are also enabled for those who wish to support us and the artists involved.

All tracks were recorded in real-time as a basic factor. Once the tool to create the sound was developed it was possible to record internal energy with its possibilities then. Morphogenesis of previous steps of experience with the moment of now. Morphogenesis of the moment of now with external tools and the internal world. Morphogenesis of real-time processes and the current biosphere makes output in sound.

“Proc. Morphogenesis” means “Procedural Morphogenesis” as well “Morphogenesis Process”

The process of morphogenesis here is the experience translated into the sound with an abstract digital virtual tool - the virtual sound instrument developed by V4W.ENKO.
