Though the Korean-born, Berlin-based DJ and producer isn’t too much of a talker. And he doesn’t need to be. He prefers letting his records speaking for him, letting their beautifully crafted voices, made of snares, high-hats, and bass drums tell his stories. Stories to be heard at night in the dense dark of the dance-floor, soaked in sweat, covered in haze. Messiahwaits is a musical artist through and through. He creates droning atmospheres, fused with repetitive, jacking rhythms and filled with a dark and unsettling aura. He plays with expectations and breaks tonal conventions in his very own way. And it works. And you are going to want more.   

Messiahwaits, a DJ who defies genre boundaries with a bold proclamation: “Fuck the Genre."

He would describe his set as ‘Hyper New Rave’ and believes in breaking free from the confines of a single style. His sets, clocking in at 150-160bpm, seamlessly blend Hard Techno, Hard House, industrial, groovy, Schranz, Psy-trance, dub, acid, and classic Trance sounds. Rejecting monotony, he aims to take his audience on a roller-coaster ride of emotions, offering a musical journey. For him, the mission is simple: “Make People Dancing." His key idea? "You Should Feel What I Feel."
