Bournemouth based Alto Persona is certainly making waves on the UK South Coast. Evidently due to his musical sound and style, but also because he is putting that area back on the map, with the launch of his very own event night, Revibe Emotions.

Welcome back to the Drift State mix series! This weeks guest is an Argentina-based talent rapidly growing in the organic and progressive house scene, and one of my current favourite artists out there. Please welcome @emicadj!

Emi CA is a Buenos Aires–based DJ and producer known for blending the emotional depth of progressive house with the organic flow of melodic and deep sounds. His productions weave textured harmonies, warm grooves, and atmospheric layers to create immersive musical journeys that resonate on both emotional and dancefloor levels.

With releases on leading imprints such as Univack, MANUAL, 3rd Avenue, Droid9, Protagonist, The Purr, Transensations, Consapevole, and Stellar Fountain, Emi has established himself as a rising voice within the international progressive scene. My set started at 11 PM, and by 1 AM it was time to hand over the booth to Antrim so he could be completely free to take the dancefloor wherever he wanted for the next five hours.
I hope I set the right tone. Every day feels more challenging than the last, and maybe that’s exactly why I love this so much. Can you feel how passionate I am about what I do?

Thank you for sharing this special night with me — I celebrated my birthday in the middle of the set, behind the decks, exactly how I wish to spend every birthday for the rest of my life.

Caio é um produtor e DJ curitibano de Progressive House, que encontrou na música uma linguagem que, para ele, transcende o óbvio. Em seus primeiros contatos com a música eletrônica, foi influenciado pela atmosfera introspectiva e emotiva de artistas como Guy J, assim como por selos como All Day I Dream e Sol Selectas, aprendendo desde cedo que a música pode ser tanto dançante quanto profundamente emocional. Sua jornada, iniciada em 2019, ganhou força quando o selo Warung Recordings lançou sua primeira musica produzida, um marco que transformou sua produção solitária em conexão internacional.

Mas foi no extinto clube Inbox, em Curitiba, que Caio entendeu o essencial: os rótulos não definem a música. Entre as diversas apresentações que presenciou viu que a autenticidade move a pista, e não o gênero. Hoje, ele busca levar o público por uma jornada de emoções, equilibrando momentos de pura energia com outros de introspecção e seu objetivo é claro: criar experiências que unam corpos, mentes e histórias em um só ritmo.
