First heard this over on Spotify and then checked here to see if you had an acct.  Great song!  I knew Intrusive View from a million years ago, from a comp album called Transmission Vol. 1.  It came up in my at-home playlist today and I checked for new music -- glad I did!

On "One Thing I'm Missing" (Remixed), Vanessa Daou offers a hazy summer romance with slinky mixes by veteran house music producer and Kismet Records main man Rui Da Silva and newcomer André Baum. Rui reinvents the brooding abstract original - from Daou's latest studio opus 'Light Sweet Crude (Act 1: Hybrid)' - into a minimal "hard, dark and soul" masterpiece that finds the dulcet-toned siren at her most radiant against a surging backdrop of aquatic pulses, hypnotic eerie synths and thumping drums. Baum (who co-wrote/co-produced the original) journeys inward to deliver a more haunted and stripped-down expansion where Daou's ghostly vocals flutter with an awkward poetic elegance against layers of icy synths, frenetic beats and a druggy languid groove.
