In the wake of Slowaxx's debut album released in February, Bordeaux-based record label Broken District unveil a compelling collection of live renditions that underscore the dynamic soundscapes crafted by his talented ensemble, which includes six adept musicians alongside rapper Young A.M.A...Our pick from the album is opening track ‘Shapes Interfusion (Intro) ‘. In just less than two minutes, the track unfolds a mesmerising tapestry of serene saxophone soundscapes, artfully interlaced with ethereal keys and subtle, FX-laden guitar touches. The slumbering bass lines pulse beneath it all, crafting an exhilarating ascent into a multifaceted meditative experience resonating within the depths of the Mediterranean sea.
