Brooklyn-based record label Toucan Sounds gear up to release ‘Baddest Behaviour’ from Byron The Aquarius and Brandon Markell Holmes...Today, we’re excited to premiere Robert PM's take of 'Baddest Behaviour' where the producer skilfully fuses soulful vocals with dynamic, percussion-driven grooves, propelling the track to anthemic heights. The remix launches with a barrage of rapid-fire drumming and synth-minded frequencies, setting the stage for Brandon Markell Holmes to enter the fray with his evocative Daddy Long Beach poetry and soulful chants that reach a powerful crescendo in the midsection.

Always in the underground, he sporadically gives us masterpieces of IHM (Intelligent House Music). An hypnotic voice with warm drums accompanied by dreamy melodies characterise the ep's main track, while the remix assigned to the 'mind behind the project' Marco Dassi gives it that danceable touch in a Lo-Fi key.

Label founder, DJ and producer Birds has rallied up a battalion of her favourite music producers to create their own versions of some of the tracks from her debut album 'Home.' It features remixes from Ben Pest, Jerome Hill, Ivna Ji, Hedchef, Acidic Male, Poly Chain and Borusiade.

Flexing from Electro, to Bass, to Drum & Bass, to Techno, to Experimental, this remix extended EP is a release that knows no bounds in terms of genre, just as she likes it.

All tracks were produced and mixed by the listed artists. Artwork by Johana Pejic and mastering by Sam Berdah.

The Anthrobotics EP presents a series of sonic experiments in the breaks, electro and techno continuum, inspired by 90s video game nostalgia, sci-fi soundtracks, and the evolving sound of the UK dancefloor.

The release also marks a welcome Erbium label debut for Jordan Harding and Kulv Ghatora aka Joku — a project aimed at bridging the gap between their individual artistic styles, combining bright, euphoric melodies and soundscapes with dark, gritty basslines and percussion.

But that's not all: Taipan Trax founder and mainstay producer Phasmid, alongside prog-trance newcomer Sattam, round things off with two mind-bending remixes.

Every now and then there were ripples in the water, they were ever so slight and faint but they were there nonetheless. The sounds of the garden illuminated the quiet evening, a chorus of life amidst what would be another quite land.

The sun was setting in the distance, casting a hazy pink glow atop everything below. It would rise again tomorrow to bring forth a new day but for now its day was done.

He sat and watched all of this by the pond. The lyra and the lily pads blowing softly in the breeze.

This is a fine piece of bubbly house music which will work well on fast paced dancefloors. Like being in space surrounded by bubbles or lost in a ball pit, or something else a bit like that. All very good fun.

Aged Acid EP. The name speaks for itself. Like a well aged wine, DFD aka Troy Anderson shows how to make acid sound smooth and superior. This EP contains 4 deep atmospheric grooves, each with its own unique style and love for detail.

Troy has been releasing electronic music under aliases like Waverider and Cityboy since the 90s. Recently, he started cooking up fresh new tracks and released an EP on the legendary label Down Low Music. Also, some of his releases from back then are now available on We're Going Back. Hailing from Belarus, and based in Hanoi, Vietnam, producer and DJ Mishouju treats us with a project from overseas, filled with his signature broken electro sounds and deep hypnotizing 4-on-the-floor style that locks you into the dancefloor. “Memphis Electronic Inc.” is an inspired adventure into different sounds and genres like house, breaks, electro, dub & techno that is centered on Mishouju’s favorite hip-hop tunes growing up, mostly Memphis hip-hop.

“Mishy Oi” starts us off with a cheeky reinterpretation of the New York hip hop classic “Shimmy Shimmy Ya” by Ol’ Dirty Bastard, with Mishouju injecting his signature style to a very familiar sample, creating a suspenseful build-up and worthy payoff thus, further enhancing an already ubiquitous song into a banger worthy of a club. Next up, “Beton Boots” is an emotional track that gives us a sentimental feeling of nostalgia, even if you aren’t familiar with the sampled “Cement Shoes” by DJ Spanish Fly, another Memphis hip-hop originator. "They Done, Fxxked Up” is a breaky rendition of Memphis legends Three 6 Mafia’s “Yeah, They Done Fucked Up”, using all kinds of percussion into delivering a hypnotic head nodder. Completing the project is a powerful remix of “Beton Boots” by Italian artist Lucretio. Filled with a filthy acid bassline and a driving kick, this remix is sure to rock your socks off.
