Amsterdam-based label Open Source prepare to release the single 'Aperture' from label head honcho Thomas Van De Ven otherwise known as VNTM...Clocking in at 135 BMP, VNTM delivers a restless assault of techno, trudging relentlessly through dystopian territories incorporating highly-arranged 4/4 drum work, knife-edge synth stabs and a semi-human chorus, culminating in a total blackout.

VNTM is an Amsterdam based live act and musician that has been playing his take on techno at numerous big festivals around the globe, appearing with his machines and only playing out his own material.

The sound of VNTM is a blend between modern day techno and contemporary progressive melodies. By the use of haunting chords, mysterious strings and dark basses VNTM tries to take the listeners on a journey through his mind and aims to visualize a unique storyline during every performance. Dark, yet uplifting, mysterious and elusive are all terms that come to mind when exploring the sound of the young dutchman. 

Performed internationally at Afterlife (Hï,Tomorrowland & Printworks), Awakenings, Audioriver, Loveland, 909, Burningman and more alongside Richie Hawtin, Ben Klock, Marcel Dettmann, Tale of Us, Adam Beyer, Mind Against, Jeff Mills and many more
