Karl Reyes is a Dominican DJ and Producer from Puerto Plata. His passion for music began at a very young age when he began studying piano at the age of 11. Later on, he discovered underground music and started to djing and producing music.
 
Karl is the owner of the Dominican label Indian Records and is part of the duo Soul Rose with Enmanuel Dipuglia. He has signed releases on labels such as Whoyostro LTD, Conceptual, Samani, and others.

Having emerged from the underground scene in Romania, he became more eclectic in his style after he moved to Berlin. Renowned for his marathon sets and experimentation with sound, this is the newest mix to be released after the Forma EP, which showed off a clear, new vision, perhaps influenced by his collaboration with over 140 artists as part of his work with his own record company. Previously working with the likes of Hansel, Crocodile Soup and Vid aka Egal 3, he continues to release mixes to proudly demonstrate the continuing growth of his label and work with more up-and-coming artists. The mix itself is atmospheric at times, but has a strong kicking undercurrent. Here,Primărie translates his varying influences by playing with grooves and engaging with positive vibes, to bring smiles to those dancing the night away. A vehicle of liquid sound goes in from the very beginning as Sepp’s positively abundant kicks are stepping in, configuring the path for the future. Surfing through the waves, we found ourselves dancing on strings of thunder drums wrapped in echoes morphing into 3ca1’s aerial pads. Intense but floaty. Beware of the tribal intervention.
