The afterglow a mystery.

and leaking sinks
and snakes.

Underground unbound.
Unbolting each lock to soul.
Silent and slow
but wrong it goes
until the fractured
break to fall

to the cellar
where all the lost ones let
the poets of the moon

for which to paint
their future
or their doom.
