Most of you know I'm a uge fan of some of the Saifam sub-labels as Titanic Records, BLQ Records, Green Force and Dance Pollution, actually:  If you look at my Italian Hardstyle mix series 1 till 4 you'll see it's full of their massive tracks!! Hardtrance Classics _ 02

In 2007-2008, a new sound was on the rise in Hardstyle, presented with melodies, long breaks, short punchy kicks - People called this 'Nu-Style'. A brand new generation of artists was born and established artists that were inspired took the lead.
This period also marked the beginning of 'rawstyle'.

Iridium DJ Presents a Tribute To X-Qlusive Italy 2002 - June 2024

The first edition of X-Qlusive, X-Qlusive Italy, took place on 26 October 2002 at the Heineken Music Hall (now AFAS Live) in Amsterdam. This was also my very first Hardstyle party and also the best one I've ever experienced! That line up was and still is something to die for! Too bad they don't have parties like this anymore! That's why I've decided to pay a homage to not only Q-Dance's second longest running concept (Qlimax is the longest running), but also to the Italian Hardstyle artists/producers from back then. Oh man, how much I miss those Early Hardstyle days!!
