Iridium DJ Presents Trance Generators Classics - Part 1 - October 2023

Next to having Technoboy ‘N’ Tuneboy aka TNT as one of my favorite Italian Hardstyle duo's, I also have the Trance Generators on my list. They were top class Hardstyle producers and DJ’s. Almost all their mixes and sets were spot on! Their track “Italians Do It Better” from 2007 confirms that as well. 

Unfortunately, they are not a couple anymore. Trance Generators was a hardstyle team from Italy, and was originally composed of Philippe Martin, Simone Bergamelli and Aldo Pesenti. They released their first single (terminal 932) on the Anthem label, in 1999. The following year they started record company Future Sound Corporation. Aldo Pesenti dropped out in March 2003 and six months later they released the remaining two tracks of the group's debut album, Banging Sounds. Starting from March 2003 the group consists of this Italian duo Massimo Magri and Simone Bergamelli. Banging Sounds Album Vol. 2 was released in mid-2006, showing that the Trance Generators had stuck to the characteristic hardstyle. In March 2010 the Trance Generators ended their activity. Since 2010 Massimo Magri, better known as Radium, continued his journey alone with his record company Future Sound Records.

With the Hard Trance Master hitting Barry Town for the WRONGUNS crew come March 7th, I have put together this promo/tribute mix featuring all MY personal fav tunes, old & new, by the main man himself.

Even though it was nostalgic to hear the crackle of the vinyl and the ‘beats bouncing off each other’ - I tell ya what - beat matching some of those wavering vinyl rips, in my style of mixing, was a right old effort! But I got It done, as I wanted to do as I do - and put out an authentic representation of me too.

So, I hope that, in the effort,  I have done Frank, the Tunes and your memories justice.
