Born in St. Mary, Dotta Coppa found it rough to explode on the music scene so he moved to Cassava Piece in Kingston, where he attended Papine High school. Due to gun/gang violence he now resides in Big Yard with relatives and friends. It was at Big Yard where he was discovered by Vybz Kartel because he is a young talent and was the neighbourhood DJ for Red Hills Gardens. Vybz introduced him to the Empire Family and under that umbrella that’s taking Jamaica and the world by storm there is no telling what’s gonna be the limit for Coppa. Yellow Man look out, the new millennium yeller is in the house.

I've been singing from as far as I&amp;I can remember : my eldest bro was also a singer and he use to take me out and any where we were he would want me to sing  at his work place, parties and even on the bus..
My first official record was life or death its a Foxxlink production, i would call that my interduction.

My first live show was in Westmoreland Ja. It was called Silo Explosion... I got a big response from the fans so after that I started doing some other promotional shows, I also performed at Sting 2009..

My Favorite Riddim right now is Life Or Death Riddim By Chimney Records.
I have mad respect for these Ja producers Don Corleon, Notnice, Jordan(Chimney Records) and Steven Di Genius Mc Gregor.'

Gappy Ranks born and grown in Harlesden NW10. Father Jamaican, Mother Dominican, a good combination like Rice & Peas. Early support and recognition of this rising young talent who had made his studio debut with the Ruff Cutt band at age 11 came from local sound system operators and pirate radio stations and soon led to his link up and studio baptism with Stonebridge stars Suncycle Crew. The embers were soon burning and the young artist next landed a series of killer link ups with the likes of Kray Twinz, Twista and MC Lethal B. The release of his eagerly awaited Greensleeves album "Put The Stereo On" ups the ante to another level, the album sees Gappy completing his project with the Peckings crew, producers of Bitty McLeans classic “On Bond Street” album and like that best selling set, “Put The Stereo On” is launched on authorised versions from Studio One, Treasure Isle & Bunny Lee. Whether it's "as good as old" gems like the title track "Put The Stereo On" (a record so in-demand the dancehall government have had to step in to authorize it's immediate release), the straight to the heart romantic beat of "Happiest Day Of My Life" or the awesome word, sound & power of “Thy Shall Love” Gappy has it all under lock and key, he can sing like Tarrus and spit lyrics like Kartel and displays this stunning versatility both on stage and in the studio.

January 7: Two Years ago today the Jamaican Police shot and killed Lepke Nathaniel Hines aka Mr Groove. Turns out he was not who they were looking for. They not only took away a loving father from his family, they extinguished an extremely promising talent in the blink of an eye without consequence. He was a close friend and an amazing artist that had a voice that was one in a million. Big Up Cut Stone, Ras Blinga, Bosey, and everyone who loved and supported Groove along the way. Green Lion Crew & Chronixx- Life Over Death- Rough Road Riddim radio debut by Sir David Rodigan

Braveheart was born in Ocho Rios on Jamaica's north coast in 1976 and grew up there and in August Town in Kingston. Although largely unknown up until now, he is a formidable DJ talent whose time must surely come. He started DJing in 1992 and appeared on local sound systems like Turbo Charge, and Massive Hi-Power. Originally known as Pancho, his first recording was produced by Philip "Fatis" Burrell from Xterminator in 1993 but was not released. His first release was "119", produced by Jamaica's top sound system Stone Love Movement. Braveheart's DJ style is very close to the original Sizzla style, and like his successful friend, is also a great lyricist too. The last few years has seen Braveheart continuing to live in Ochi Rios, where he works as the engineer at Prezident Brown's dubplate studio. He has been producing himself in preparation for his own debut album (on his own Brimstone label). He has a promo-only CD available and also has one track "Don't Care" on the compilation album "Luciano & Friends" on the Tallas International label in the USA. Rootsman first met Braveheart in the summer of 1999 when he visited Jamaica and recorded some killer specials with him. They finally linked up again 3 years later in August 2002 when Braveheart finally made it to England. He reached the Third Eye Studio to record some more specials and also two new tunes produced by Rootsman - "Too Rough" and "Slew Dem."
