Bartek Industries @ Moontribe April 2022

The rain was pouring down and not a soul could be seen at the stage.    Slowly, they emerged, looking a little wet and a lot tired.  I made it up onto the stage scaffolding and team members started trying to get the generator working.  I was living on infinite patience and low expectations and it worked for me.  I wiped down their rain spattered mixer and allowed myself to enjoy the moment.  It made me smile.  

The generator (their second one?) started humming and a thumbs up appeared!  I pressed record and it all started.  The rain dissipated and the sun started shinning!  The beats and the sunbeams brought the people out to the stage and it happened!  It was such an honour to start the vibe at Ironic Spin.

Dodd wandered his ass from Ironic Spin across the field to the ol' Lampchanted Forest and played some post-dinnertime garage and breakbeats for about an hour. He had a really good time doing it, and he hopes that you have a really good time listening to it.

Feeling so blessed to be able to share some 4-4 rollers with this amazing crowd out dancing at a one night, two stage micro festie.
This was a super fun set to play. Leaning towards the tech/progressive house end of the spectrum.

Caçadora - Summer Sessions

Hygge is a Danish and Norwegian word that describes a mood of being cozy and content with the simple things of life.  I whipped this set together impulsively on a frosty Saturday morning. Channeling the feeling of a cozy coffee shop on a rainy night, or a warm meal on a cold night. 

Lots of chilled out drum and bass, jazzy and Motown elements  come together in this set. I'm happy with how this came out as it was entirely unplanned, which in my humble opinion is the most enjoyable way to play.  Lean into what feels good and see what happens.
