This is one of my 'lounge series' acoustic thingies.  A simple one-take song/story for voice and piano.

This little project has been sitting in my DAW for a few months... originally destined for lyrics but I can't quite find the right words for it yet.  It is  a story of a love of two people who are drawn to one another and yet  can not be together  because the powers that be will not allow it... and so two sad souls long for one another ...  long to be trapped in their world ...

Written and recorded to 8 track tape then mixed straight onto cd around 2009.

The drum percussion sound, because I didnt have a kit back then, was created by using crusty old paint brushes on a textured vinyl album cover. If I recall, it was the Eagles greatest hits. Where theres a will, theres a way.......

Don't Wanna Come Down

Hello Folks, 

Welcome to my humble page! A little about me: Mid 30s  business lady by day, music obsessed creative fiend by night. I do mean OBSESSED….Music lives in my head and can not stop coming out of it! I grew up listening  to  all kinds of music so my  creations have been influenced by live instruments and orchestral melodies marrying the  beat and rhythm of dance music.  Piano - trained and a hobby vocalist of sorts , music is  how I deal with the world.  As of 2024 , embarking on a  journey to learning the guzheng and cello. Some paint some build, some write… This girl tells stories with her music.  Take a pause and listen. I hope you enjoy it as much as I enjoy setting  them loose into the world !
