XØC was started in 2008 by bolognese guitarist/producer Franz "Moroboshi" Ardito after moving to Barcelona and remixing "Beamon Jauzia" by basque Fermin Muguruza, and "Cosmopolitan Time" by south-american Che Sudaka.

Right from the start the idea was to mix rock'n'roll demonic/ironic side with raw electronic beats and synths, a hybrid and punchy sound filtered by the lens of irony, rebellion, and provocation. Or, better said, an open and unpredictable trip through nowadays unstoppable reality made of machines, progress, networking, and taxes.
XØC's way to freely enjoy music, reshuffling old patterns and bashing rigid classifications, resulted in a brand new, shiny atomic mezcla of rock-electro-mestizaje Barcelona style, which by the way they happen to call "Dancefloor Punk".

The trio performed their full-blown electric show in many dancehalls of the country, setting them as a high-energy, fun-packed act; the combination of the blasting rocky guitars, dancey acid electronics, and weirdo visuals naturally reprezent Barcelona's nightlife.

Indeed, to mix things up a bit more XØC performs an acoustic/unplugged version of the set, mainly to raid the streets, bars, and smaller clubs, where the show turns into a raw spaghetti-western rave with spanish guitar, accordeon, and cajon: the loudest unplugged trio in BCN galaxy..

Since its inception different musicians from all around the world have crossed path with XØC - south americans, gringos, europeans, all friends who orbited around the capital city of mestizaje or/and shared the view of musical and cultural mix-up, like german world-music icons Dissidenten (which XØC proudly remixed in 2010), MC Spex (former Asian Dub Foundation, hi-octane feat. in "Blastah"), or Kachafaz (Che Sudaka's verse machine, feat. in "It'z Weerd").

Remixes, productions, and an active gig schedule allowed XØC to gather around them a lot of curiosity and in 2010 they signed for Barcelona indie label extraordinaire KASBA MUSIC to release their first, self-titled, full lenght album: 13 tracks of original songs packed of energy and with lyrics in english, catalan, spanish, and italian, describing the band's oblique view on reality and its social and human contradictions - and hipocrisy was not on the list.

To further highlight the interest around the album, the single "Cannonball" was chosen by SONY to be the score of the commercial of their line of headphones.

"I like the direction very much...beats, synth bass, mad distorted guitars.... Great!"

These were the words of legendary producer Peter Walsh when he first heard the demos and whom, courtesy of the Internet, blessed the production of the record with loads of hints and suggestions and for this gaining a guru-like, almost metaphysic, status by the band.
And right to the Internet, humanity's biggest invention ever, the album is dearly dedicated; a small homage to the freedom of knowledge, main weapon in a world that behind its comfortable and self-assuring mask of normality hides abnormal monstruosities.

Only thing abnormal XØC have, however, is the volume of their instruments.



volker ißbrücker is a berlin based composer and musician. he originally studied classical clarinet but started his first autodidactic rhythm experiences on drums and percussions soon to concentrate and work on drumming and drum production later on. his distinctive mark in drumming is his preferences for uneven bar measures and polyrhythm.

besides his solo projects ißbrücker appeared as co-composer and drummer in different bands, such as the prog rock formation PEP or the indie-pop group GABRIEL HIRSCH. furthermore he worked together with BEN WUYTS, performing his drummings on several tracks.
his recent works can be heard at the solo project GHOST CITY KIDS.

The Hands of the Wrong People are a Berlin based guitar, bass and drum 3 piece comprising musicians originating from Scotland, Belgium and Germany.

'Perspective Correction' (2015) is the band's 3rd full length release. Previous releases are 'Spring Flakes' (2008) and 'Proportions' (2011).

I am an active popular music performer, recording musician, and producer, currently based in Berlin, Germany. As a saxophone player I have participated in a number of successful group projects which have fused a wide range of musical stylistic approaches. Specific projects include the jazz fusion group Clockwinder, the improvisation-based Evil Eye Soundsystem, the alternative rock ensemble First Circle, and the indie/Afro-Beat/shoegaze rock band Public Record (High Two Records).  In particular I thrive off of collaborating with musicians who are drawn to improvisation, genre blending, and the inescapable groove.

A woman once complained to Greg Oorange “because of you I couldn’t stop dancing and I nearly wet myself”. Another one swooned “next to Paul Kalkbrenner you are my favourite DJ”. An ecstatic sweat-soaked guest yelled to Greg Oorange “you’re the best DJ I’ve ever seen performing here”.
At 9 years of age Greg Oorange discovered his calling as a DJ when, just using an old tape recorder he sync-spliced together his first gig. For the last 15 years he has been mixing and spinning the hottest sounds in some of the top hotspots of Berlin, Hamburg and Leipzig. Greg Oorange also ensures for crowded dance floors at ceremonial events, exclusive galas and festive wedding receptions. With his unique style and his fine sense for the musical tastes of his guests, coupled with the timing of a trapeze artist and his musical versatility makes Greg Oorange one of the most flexible of the All-round DJs.
Starting with Pop then Disco and Soul, his path led him through Funk and Hip-hop into Rock, up to Indie and then on to Balkan Beats and Electro Swing. Since 2011 Greg Oorange being a member of the DJ pool “Electric Monday”, regularly rocks Deep- and Techhouse as well as the legendary Tresor in Berlin. Two years ago he started producing his own House-Tracks. His first Remixes for Gina Estrada’s “Picturing My Dreams” (2012) and Floria Rey's “Moonlight Sonata” (2011) were released on Funkhaus Music. In the summer of 2011 “Moonlight Sonata” reached number 8 in the German Club Charts. Right now he is working on his very first own release for the Berlin label.
Whether mixing for club nights as a resident in one of the oldest clubs in Berlin the Sophienclub, or at Leipzig's most important (sub) cultural address the Moritzbastei or as a Lounge-DJ in the excellent Berliner solar lounge, or even Deejaying on the cooking-event the "Global Soil Week 2012” with star chef Sarah Wiener and Prof. Dr. Klaus Töpfer. Greg Oorange knows how to inspire his guests to the upmost!

Ivan and the Visionaries are a rag-tag bunch of minstrels drawn together by a mysterious force during the death throes of 2012. They play rock, indie, blues, folk and anything else they can get their hands on.
