I wrote this song when I was 16 years old. It was inspired by one of my favorite artists of all time and It was the first song I ever wrote and finished. I'd like to one day do this with a band and have a different arrangement, but for now this acoustic version will have to do. This was recorded live in my basement studio in northern Michigan.

Recorded this Saturday, March 24th in the morning. I had this beat on my computer for a while and used it since I first listened to it. This track is my morning freestyle session spliced together, this was done with two takes of freestyle content. I want to start doing more of these. 

I think the beginning is the best, by the ending I'm scramblin' for words and didn't know where the beat was going. I feel like I need to start sharing more content even If I don't think it's perfect, you know?

Just another night time freestyle. I'm working at releasing more content like this. Releasing random hip hop tracks online is one sure way of getting totally ignored sound cloud, virtually any other genre could give you a little boost.  But I've been on this hiphop kick for a while and have been really loving it! I think crossing genres and just dialing in what you truly like is the best thing you can do as a musical artist. 

Will start working on some folk/rock/blues stuff soon. For now here's "Light my Fire", a random one-take freestyle.
