bī-nôr'əl Cinema was conceived in 2020 and released in 2021 as part of Harper’s ongoing art practice development.  This audiovisual exploration delves into the profound question: Can sounds really heal us?

The album challenges conventional norms and gently guides listeners through a journey from Delta to Beta frequencies (1HZ - 30HZ), disrupting the clinical boundaries of Audio-Visual Entrainment (AVE).

Inspired by Harper's transformative journey through Japan, the album captures the intensity and serenity of Japanese city life. The juxtaposition of urban pressure against the peaceful backdrop of temples is intricately woven into the fabric of the album. 

Premiered at the LCB Depot's Lightbox Gallery during the launch of DIGITAL on Dec 3rd, 2021, Harper's AVE set takes you on a sonic voyage. This immersive experience explores the use of light and sound frequencies to guide the mind, delving into the nuanced realms of mood, focus, and cognition. Immerse yourself in the experimental fusion at the intersection of art and the healing power of frequencies with bī-nôr'əl Cinema.
