“Soundscapes of Yoga” is a collection of no-mind-music, a companion on the journey towards pure presence. It is created from, by, during and for the path of unity. It is a service and gift towards seekers on the path to self-discovery, a reminder that we are never alone.

The soundscapes are made from Ishtadi’s collection of healing instruments and nature recordings, meant to echo - our nature within.

According to Guru Vashishta, teacher of Lord Rama, there are 7 states to Union:

Since he was 14 Ishtadi embraced the yoga practice and later extensively travelled India, living with monks, nuns, siddhas, saddhus, yogis, musicians and a variety of therapists and healers. His mission is to transform these ancient experiences of knowledge into contemporary immersive culture.

Ishtadi interweaves sounds of nature to musical landscapes, combining field-recordings with electronic synthesis, organic rhythms and harmonies. Awakening the genetically imprinted being inside, inviting the body and mind to slow down, in order to dive deep - into the now.

Ishtadi is the founder of VibroAcoustics, Nature Tales, Ecstatic Dance Copenhagen, Nordic Ecstatic Dance Association, Cacao CPH and a variety of concert and party concepts.

In sanskrit, “Ishtadi” means purification of the senses - the prerequisite of being absorbed in presence.

Ambient sound waves by Cory Giordano, these dreams were crafted using a combination of analog and digital synthesizers. The idea was to create minimal ambient pieces that create healing dream spaces for quiet reflection and stillness. 

"Life can get easily overcrowded with all types of noise and distractions that take us away from ourselves. I made these short pieces out of necessity for myself, to bring back some stillness and carve out a full circle to this musical path I've been on. There has been many points in my life that this type of sound has been important, so this music is as much about nostalgia as it is about being present now." 

This release marks the beginning of Drift Label, the ambient and new age subsidiary of Inner Ocean Records. Drift is an ode to the past and a return to the origin sound of Inner Ocean.

Is a project connecting the human psyche with the aural imprints of nature left in the gene code of humanity.
Ishtadi mixes his recordings of nature live, creating an evolutionary journey through real landscapes, orchestrated into a mystical and unique experience.
It allows for the listener to release into a space designed for retuning to ones personal nature.

Collecting soundscapes around the world, Ishtadi orchestrates the sounds of nature into powerful and soothing musical landscapes. Combining field-recordings with electronic synthesis, organic rhythms and harmonies letting symphonies evolve, awaking our genetically imprinted emotions, hidden somewhere deep inside ourselves. He invites us to experience fully immersive body and mind journeys, moving between the dense depths of the unconscious, to the realms of light and tranquil.

The last years Ishtadi has performed infront of crowds up 90.000 people, been on Indian National TV, co-played the Wake Stage at Distortion CPH before 20.000 people, as well as being featured on several festivals in Denmark, Germany and India.
At the age of 18 Ishtadi became a founder, organizer, street artist and DJ for the artist collective "Lydkammerat”, organizing pop-up events, concerts, parties and the festivals Flerdagsdrøm 2015/2017.
Today he is founder of Nature Tales, VibroAcoustics, Cacao Copenhagen, Nordic Ecstatic Dance Association & Ecstatic Dance Copenhagen.
