Emcee Hype is a writer, performer and composer. He was previously signed to a major record label with his hip hop collective, Jersey Bound Trunk Crew. Now, united with DJ Devin Howe, the duo creates and performs a fully independent brand of hip hop that is all their own. Emcee Hype's music has been featured on MTVu, The Sundance Film Festival, albums, mixtapes, and pseudo-self-important blogs. Hype composed, wrote, recorded and mixed his solo EP, S3CR3T T3CHN0L0GY. His next self-produced EP, "sleep tight, see you soon.." was recorded and mixed by Rich Rawson and is now available for download.
