Emerging from a December of DJ booths, the duo Gold Suite sought refuge in the January quiet, inspired by the rapid creation of '70s library music. Joey envisioned scoring a resort lost in time, while Laura provided newfound bass lines. This led to "Analog Swell," later graced with a live kit, and the vocal breakthrough of "Coast Along." These simple, evocative tracks mark a creative turning point, offering listeners a minimalist portal to their timeless escape. Featuring remixes by Dan Idjut and Yarni, the “Gold Suite” EP is coming hot to join the kaleidoscopic catalogue of the acclaimed French label Citizens Of Vice.

Premiered here, "Coast Along" is a sun-drenched Balearic gem that perfectly captures the essence of a carefree summer. The track is both relaxing and subtly upbeat, built on a warm, melodic foundation that invites immediate immersion. Soaring, beautiful vocals drift over the arrangement like a soft breeze, evoking a sense of wistful serenity. The gentle pulse of the track is driven by intricate, percussive elements that mimic the easy rhythm of waves on a shore. It’s a beautifully balanced piece of music, equally suited for sunset reflection or a peaceful, open-air dance floor, embodying a timeless, summer-infused tranquillity.

Luke Blunton steps into the spotlight with his debut EP on Laib und Seele Records. A dynamic journey through textured, progressive soundscapes. The four-track release flows effortlessly between playful minimalism, infectious groove-driven house, deep dubby atmospheres and a trance-infused remix.

Opening with ‘Mirror State’, this track sets a confident tone with playful precision. A vocoded vocal line weaves through a stripped-back minimal framework, layered with rolling acid modulations and anchored by a bouncy bassline.

Next up, ‘Daisy Chain’ locks into a classic four-to-the-floor rhythm, a delicately produced proggy, deep house cut with meticulous attention to detail, topped off with a cheeky infectious melody that gets bodies moving and faces smiling.

‘Marinara Trench’ follows, diving deeper into dubby depths with a spacious, atmospheric feel. Closing the EP, Nickon Faith takes another look into the mirror with his remix of ‘Mirror State’, transforming it into a trancey roller laced with psy elements, while maintaining its evolving proggy style, enriching it with extra rhythmic layers and a new splash of percussive flavour."

Natural Element proudly presents the long-awaited album The Paradigm Shift by one of Amsterdam’s finest and most prolific producers, Kid Sublime. Following on from the 12” single ‘You Got Me Runnin’’ which dropped in the summer, this 8 track, double LP offering is a special piece of work crafted during the pandemic years and Turbulence recording sessions with maestros Beka Gochiashvili and Mishulino.

The album showcases the evolution of Kid Sublime’s sound and the influence of London’s vibrant broken beat scene, with him having connected with some of the artists around the time of the passing of the legendary Phil Asher. It touches on house, bruk and even techno, with his signature soulful touch palpable across the whole record. Features include talented London artist Oliver Night, Sydney-based vocalist Natalie Slade and long time collaborator, flautist Han Litz, amongst others.

The Paradigm Shift takes you on a deep sonic journey straight from the heart, celebrating love, connection, spirituality and human evolution. There’s introspective moments with the jazzy house drifter ‘The Awakening’ and the dubbed out bass of ‘Kingz’, as well as joyful moments such as the uplifting ‘Heaven’s Glory’ and the romantic ‘Stay Over’, which is as soulful as it gets. ‘Bring It Come’ brings some minimal bruk flavours reminiscent of Bugz in the Attic, and the title track takes things a bit darker with a club-ready roller.

Sitting somewhere between the living room and the dancefloor, this album is sure to enliven the spirits of many a discerning listener and bring some much needed radiance and hope into people’s lives.
