Patch Notes:

A Castle jam with subtle modulation to the both the operator wave shape and levels to add movement and rhythmic emphasis. 

With the Castle’s 4 operators in series, a random voltage from Pam is patched to the wave CV input of operator 3, rhythmically altering the timbre of the swelling FM over operator 4.

A pitch sequence is patched to Osc B, layering with the droning Osc A to create dual voice harmonies.

The x1 and x2 outs of the Pexp-1 are patched to the level CV inputs of operators 2 and 1 respectively, altering the sound of the wave shape modulation down stream as operator 3 is FM’d.

Ambient track performed on my Eurorack system.

All sequenced and performed on my Eurorack system. Shift Register melodies fed from Marbles generative/random sequence.

VOICES:
 Bass: Ts-L (Triangle) into Lxd (6dB stage), envelope from Quadra.

Left Lead: Rings (Orange Mode) into Ripples (Bandpass Mode). Modulation from Marbles (Y output) + 3sisters (centre output)

Right Lead: Mangrove (formant) into 3Sisters. Low out into Lxd (12db stage, envelope from Quadra).

Pad: Tides into RxMx. Rings Even out and Mangrove Square out also mixed on RxMx.

Transition Pad: Just Friends into DPLPG. Envelope from Quadra (triggered from Branches).

SEQUENCING: 
All pitch sequencing from Marbles feeding Quantimator (in Shift Register mode). 

Left Lead and Right Lead envelopes triggered from Branches (triggered by Marbles clock out).

Tides/RxMx modulated using Marbles voltage outputs and slewed output from Noise Tools.

PROCESSING/MODULATION: 
Chronoblob (with time and hold modulation) treatments on Left Lead and Right Lead.

Left Lead processed through Fairfield Shallow Water.

Right Lead processed through Fairfield Meet Maude.

Pad processed through Strymon El Capistan.

MIXING:
 Mixed on Mackie 1202 with OTO Bam and Strymon DIG on Aux Sends. Stereo out recorded into soundcard.

West Pier

Here's my first pairing of the SoMa Lyra-8 and the new Chase Bliss MOOD. I'm working currently with minimalist tunings for the Lyra, and enjoying exploring the way different feedback loops transform them. This was done with a modified DADGAD tuning. The MOOD was in tape delay mode to give nice tails to the Lyra, while momentarily recorded loops were Stretched underneath.

Prepared Eurorack system patch with Guitar improvisation.

Extensive use of Make Noise RxMx, Mutable Tides, Mannequins Mangrove, Telecaster and EHX Attack Decay. Reverb is OTO BAM. Delay is Strymon DIG

Guitar is fed through Attack Decay with pitch shifter in FX Loop for 'shimmer' type pad sounds.

Recorded stereo out from Mixer into Zoom Handy Recorder. Mastered in Ableton.

Kite

Ambient track created on Eurorack modular system (and mixed on Mackie 1202). Tracked, recorded and performed live to Zoom recorder.

Rene 2(modulated by Pressure Points) is the main sequencing element, driving the melody and bass voices. Pressure points is modulating Transpose and Snake mod functions on Rene.

Mangrove and Instruo Ts-L are the main voice modules (processed by 3 Sisters and Ripples). Mangrove controlled by mutable ears envelope into Mangrove formant for 'manual transpose' flourishes. Morphagene acting as looping/sampling delay.

Reverbs from OTO BAM and echoes from Strymon DIG and Make Noise Morphagene.
