I am a DJ and producer and I love electronic music! Originally starting off as a drummer, I fell in love with drum machines and samplers in the 90s. As a musician and multi-instrumentalist, the minimalist approach of electronic music is my real challenge. Taking a few elements and turning them into an interesting groove spiced up with melodic stories is my goal. 

My main genres are techno and house. But beware, I have a parallel life in more laid-back electronic genres. Apart from playing as a DJ, I also play live-sets ranging from ambient to breakbeat. Four to the floor music has been with me since the beginning of the 90s and inspires me again and again. I like to keep an open-mindedness to music and the creative process, and in that, bands like The Prodigy, Beastie Boys, Portishead and Kraftwerk are among the strongest musical inspirations I can think of.

As an Ableton Certified Trainer, I give workshops for all levels of knowledge. I am also the contact person for the local Ableton User Group where we regularly exchange over the latest - and sometimes oldest - topics of music production with the Live software.

Blues, Rock, Alternative oder Indie, vielleicht sind es sogar fünf Stilrichtungen, die wir in unserer Musik aufgreifen. Von treibenden Gitarrenriffs über harmonische Melodien bis hin zu fesselnden Rhythmen. Das entsteht, wenn fünf Musiker verschiedene Ideen und musikalische Einflüsse im Proberaum, auf der Bühne oder mal im Wohnzimmer zusammenbringen. 
Nicht immer zu fünft, aber in der Begeisterung für die Musik verbunden, der Bandname als Konsequenz unserer nicht immer vollständigen Besetzung und als zukünftige Konstante: Maybe Five.
