Haven't uploaded in a long while! I've been super busy with real life stuff (Nobody cares or is reading this), but I'm starting to get back into music production/posting. This song is the third song in an FNF mod that will likely never exist, where BF faces off against a shapeshifting demon who's been hired to kill and effectively replace him. "Shifter" is a character of my own making, and he uses his abilities to mimic Boyfriend's voice for the sake of these songs. I've gone heavy on the pitch shifting for his voice to make it sound less natural, showcasing the idea of him slightly distorting himself either for the sake of intimidation or out of straining himself. The voice lines are all done by yours truly!

This takes place after "Sleep Tight," and opens up with Pico starting the car to drive away. Shifter climbs on top and manages to pull Boyfriend out of the passenger seat before Pico speeds off. BF and his doppelganger are standing on the roof of a speeding vehicle as it speeds down the road. Pico, not wanting to throw BF off, just keeps going along the road, hoping that if anything the sheer mass of Shifter get the demon to knock itself off. Pico keeps dialing 911 but no calls are going through. I had a LOT of fun with this one! It's always a blast to incorporate some sound design into songs, and coupling with the dialogue exchanges I really feel like this track feels the most alive out of the other mod songs.

Hi there! I'm Cookee, an aspiring VGM composer. I started out as a "writer" (fanfiction) and an "artist" (doodles) and eventually actually became good at writing and art somewhere along the way. I began making music in 2020, and have been improving my craft ever since.
