Founded in Brooklyn and run by a team of music producers, DJs, and perpetual music addicts.

Partly Essential is the project of Dutch producer Floris Uffing. Rooted in a love for dance music, his work looks for depth within its familiar patterns — exploring how rhythm, texture, and repetition can carry more meaning. Through both creative and technical curiosity, he builds tracks that grow into balanced structures, where every sound connects and evolves with purpose.

His music sits somewhere between house and techno — detailed and atmospheric, with a focus on rhythm and flow. It balances sharp contrasts and slower evolution, always with attention and intent.

With his first two EPs, Ever Changing and Waas, Floris has started to define the sound and identity of Partly Essential. The project continues to grow through new releases and performances, reflecting a steady development as both a producer and performer.
