R 303 Radioとruralのコラボレーション企画として、rural 2025へ出演するアーティストを中心としたプログラムがフェスティバル前後に配信が決定。 世界を舞台に活躍し、本祭でも個性あふれるパフォーマンスを届けてくれるであろうアーティストたちが、R 303 Radioスタジオから違った側面のセットを披露してくれます。 Ginger Coven、またソロとしても出演するErikaとResomがShowgawin名義での出演をはじめとして、様々なアーティストによる特別な公演をお楽しみください。

As part of a collaboration between R 303 Radio and rural, a program centered on artists appearing at rural 2025 will be broadcast before and after the festival. Artists who are active on the world stage and are sure to deliver unique performances at the festival will reveal a different side of themselves from the R 303 Radio studio. Featuring Ginger Coven, as well as Erika and Resom performing under the name Showgawin, along with various other artists, this special performance promises to be an unforgettable experience.

Some DJs treat genre boundaries like walls; others see them as doors. Craig Gonzalez belongs firmly to the latter camp. A staple of Detroit’s underground and a resident DJ at Paxahau’s Third Thursday monthly, he has long been drawn to what happens when techno’s linear propulsion collides with the restless syncopation of drum & bass. That liminal space, the “grey area” between the two, has become one of the most fertile playgrounds in electronic music over the past decade, and Gonzalez shows why. In this mix, recorded as the opening set on the Movement main stage, he handles tempo as a fluid variable, shifting gears without friction and letting polyrhythms function as the connective tissue. It’s the kind of approach that resists the obvious peak and instead builds a topology of groove, a groove that bends but doesn’t break, carrying dancers across time signatures almost without them noticing. 

And while opening a stage that would later host Deepchord, Sama’ Abdulhadi, Octave One, and Jeff Mills could be seen as a daunting warm-up role, Gonzalez treats it less as preparation and more as architecture. Across ninety minutes, he layers patterns with patience, calibrating intensity so that tension rises and releases without tipping into spectacle. The set moves like a conversation that shifts from whispers to declarations, never overstated but always persuasive. It’s a reminder that flow is not just sequencing but narrative logic, and that true mastery lies not in domination of a dancefloor but in shaping the conditions for everything that comes after.

We’re excited to welcome back @zvrra, a gifted Haitian artist based in Illinois. After releasing their ‘Mica’ with us earlier this year, they are showing how to spin the decks properly for our 31st Herbarium episode. Their mix features hypnotising textures and patterns fully loaded with energy and drive. Zvrra chose White Pines (Pinus Strobus) as their inspiration. 
They say: “White Pines are my selection for the Herbarium mix series. I chose this plant, because of it's unique ability to grow in all seasons. Also I often spent many winter nights in Illinois and Wisconsin surrounded by these beautiful plants.”

Zvrra is an American music producer and DJ known for her wide variety of techno, house, and experimental music. Zvrra has released projects on prominent labels such as Avian and International Chrome. After a successful run with her 2020 techno single "Dress" and 2021 LP release "Bizzaroland," the DJ Producer has been performing at venues worldwide and has been a regular on international radio.

We are delighted to bring you a gem from this year’s Mostra Festival: a two-hour live recording from Lynne, captured in Barcelona 2025. In this set, she moves with ease through ambient textures, deep basslines, rolling percussion, drones, and surprising rhythms. Her love for drum & bass and dubstep quietly ties it all together.

Lynne’s story began in Tokyo, where a first night raving to drum & bass changed everything. It sparked a move to London, where she soaked in jungle, dubstep, and the UK’s raw underground energy before returning home to shape her own sound within Tokyo’s experimental scene.

Now moving between Tokyo and London, Lynne explores the in-between spaces of techno, experimental, and drum & bass. Her mixes feel like small journeys: thoughtful, a little mischievous, and always true to the rhythms that first lit the spark.

Please enjoy this moment with Lynne’s musical selections - let it unfold slowly, take its time, and maybe surprise you along the way...
