I met Vinsen several months ago on a vibrant dance floor in Amsterdam, where our shared love for music instantly connected us. During our breaks from the exhilarating music marathon, we delved into conversations about his unique approach to DJing, leaving me eager to experience his musical creations. When I finally had the chance to listen to his mixes upon arriving in NYC, I was thrilled to discover another DJ who takes this craft seriously and pays careful attention to every detail.

Vinsen's mixes are a pure delight, as they seamlessly weave together a carefully curated selection of tracks, forming cohesive and mesmerizing musical tales. The mix he has crafted for us is no exception. Beginning with a mystic and captivating intro by Cologne Tape, the mix gradually unfolds, immersing the listener in a compelling sound journey. Alfonso Pomeda, better known as F-on, has been a stalwart of Madrid's underground music scene for more than two decades. Whether through his firstborn label Downbeat, whom he co-founded alongside Jose Rico and Urtzi more than a decade ago, or through his own imprint Alpenglüchen, F-on is uncompromising when it comes to the deeper sides of House, Techno, and Ambient. Alfonso's broad musical knowledge can be recognized in both his productions and DJ sets, where he flawlessly blends contemporary, forward-thinking electronic music with elements from the turn of the century.
The mix F-on made for us is a true masterpiece from the depths of House and Techno. Immaculately executed, this two-hour timeless journey is an ode to all those late after hours we all long for.
