a continuous drive conducted by steady grooves and a keen sensitivity.

"Also known as Malii Yorks, I'm an Amsterdam based artist who is passionate about making refined ceramics and composing deep rhythms within the spectrum of techno as a genre. 

This recording shows my love for deep percussive techno rhythms and was made in the period when I was moving to another house and therefore had no studio for a while. It was a warm week with high temperatures so I often sat outside on the balcony with a small controller recording mixes. This one contains some of my favs and some tracks of my own."

Born in Colombia, the delicate intricacies of Launaea’s creative outputs within the realms of deep sounds are renowned for their breathtaking enchantment, always distinguished for being a constant growth of lush atmospheres blended with percussive and tribal rhythms, taking the nature as a source of inspiration and converging subtly and pleasant textures layered with a variety of soundscapes that evoke states of tension and calm at the same time.

As founder of ‘From a Lost Place’ label, Launaea has been doing different publications in his own imprint, also a collaborative project with Laura BCR released on the iconic Robert Johnson Label, and upcoming releases on Semantica Records and Polish imprint Dans Le Desert, among others.

Today marks a special moment in our collective musical journey, as we release our 100th mix under the Delayed with… banner. And who should mark this special occasion? The honor falls to our favorite celestial explorers, Moon Patrol. Yes, our co-founders, Irina Kotik and Gilles Wasserman take the helm together through their shared project that has been building and building momentum over the years. Coming in at almost two hours, the mix is an embodiment of their passion, knowledge, incredible curation, and skill as artists. Bringing listeners on a proper journey through realms of Ambient, Techno, and beyond. All with that signature Moon Patrol flair that we know and love dearly. Celebrations are to be had. ABSIS -now (@absismusic) and MouseDown -before, also known as Salva Coromina, has been a regular DJ in the Barcelona scene since the late 90’s under a different alias: mouseDown/mouseUp. He was a resident DJ at The Loft and a regular at Sónar, both in Barcelona, for many years. ABSIS has always been exploring the deepest side of electronic music which varies between ambient and techno. Next to DJ’ing he is also a producer and you are able to find some of his productions on Hivern Discs, Oslated and many more.
