Saphileaum is one of the monikers of Tbilisi-based multi-disciplinary artist Andro Gogibedashvili, who is certainly not a stranger here at Delayed. His releases on labels like Silent Season, Oslated, Diffuse Reality, Norite, Annuled Music, NYAME, and the most recent one on Good Morning Tapes gained international recognition. They highlighted Andro's sound inspired by esoteric, new age, cosmic and visionary art and teachings.
Saphileaum's approach in the studio and behind the decks brings something mystical, yet relaxing allowing listeners to find their ideal setting and enjoy the music tales told by this incredibly talented artist. 
The mix Saphileaum made for us is storytelling at its core. Listening to it feels like traveling through different realms in a day. From ambient, tropical, downtempo, and cosmic during the daytime, which reflects in the first part of the mix, to darker, rumbling techno and tribal during the night in the second part of the mix. This is yet another brilliant output from the artist we highly respect and look forward to hearing more from.

Our Next guest went by the name of  MouseDown -before, also known as Salva Coromina, has been a regular DJ in the Barcelona scene since the late 90’s under a different alias: mouseDown/mouseUp. He was a resident DJ at The Loft and a regular at Sónar, both in Barcelona, for many years. ABSIS has always been exploring the deepest side of electronic music which varies between ambient and techno. A week after our Mostra performance in Barcelona, we played a 30-minute live set in Brooklyn at The Lot Radio with our friend @0sebo. The material came from the second half of our Mostra show: an ambient intro, two unreleased downtempo tracks, and Manila to close the set.

Last year, we had the pleasure of hearing Qmico perform an incredible techno set at Annahme festival in Japan, surrounded by the beautiful mountains of Kochi, and bathed in the bright light of the hunter's full moon. A very profound, psychedelic experience. Listening to this mix over the past week has been a really special way of revisiting those memories. It's an honour to now welcome her to the series <3

This month’s Chrysalism is a companion for meditation, and a remedy for turbulence; the storm is raging outside, and yet in this moment there is stillness and peaceful contemplation. From the opening teachings of Alan Watts, through deep ambient textures and hushed vocals, to trancelike patterns - Plena Sound offers her hand to the listener, taking them safely through the rain, to that liminal space between wakefulness and sleep.
