The fifth instalment of the Voyages mix series puts @hanndmusic firmly in the pilot seat, setting off straight to Plantera HQ.

With Dan first catching our eye at parties with the Down to Earth collective in Bristol (namely an Underwater set in a tiny basement💦) we decided we had to give the Comma Traxx head the reigns for a Voyage.

Strap in for deep, driving hypnosis from eery to etheral, with no stone inbetween left unturned.

"A lone traveller emerges from their crash-landed ship upon Plantera, uncertain of what land is before them and what mysteries await. Through the dense, purple mist a marshy woodland appeared. A luminous curiosity pulses from the forest that surrounds this lone wonderer, inviting them to explore with aimless enthusiasm.

Taking them through thick fog bewilderment with shimmers of panic2, enducing sporadic segments of sprinting for safety. Morphing through lucid curiosity into dark and dense dashes of adrenaline; always questioning 'where am I?' somehow their thoughts echoed off the surrounding trees, thick of reverberating thought bubbles. 

Despite a desire to feel scared, the wonderer somehow felt comforted by the surrounding vast atmosphere of Plantera. Ascending to the utopic tree city that inhabits the fog land, the local colony offers nourishment and peace to rest with ease, only a taster of the endless beauty that Plantera can offer"

PREMIERE: 543ff - Ecstatic [Lazy Reflex Complex]

"Supernova," the latest single from Nems-B's upcoming EP "Serial Dreamer," is a brooding and hypnotic track that immerses listeners in its dark and moody atmosphere. With a relentless bassline that pulses and throbs beneath sharp metallic sequences and eerie synth melodies, the track has a powerful, almost hypnotic quality that draws the listener in and keeps them engaged from start to finish.

Ad aprire le danze del nostro tanto atteso Luglio è un'artista d'eccezione: Simon Oak. Da Perugia con furore, passione ed un pizzico di follia: Co-founder del duo Black Finesse, poliedricità e sperimentilasimo sono le parole chiavi di ogni sua prestazione musicale.
Nulla si crea, nulla si distrugge, tutto si trasforma. Come il suo suono.
La lente attraverso cui vede e traduce il mondo nasce dal connubio (quasi) perfetto tra scienza ed arte: come l'interazione di atomi è permessa da un legame chimico che permetta la creazione di molecole, alla stessa maniera egli plasma il ritmo di ogni suo set assemblando sonorità eterogenee.

To open the dances of our long-awaited July is an exceptional artist: Simon Oak. From Perugia with fury, passion and a pinch of madness: Co-founder of the Black Finesse duo, versatility and experimentation are the keywords of each of his musical performances.
Nothing is created, nothing is destroyed, everything is transformed. Like its sound.
The lens through which he sees and translates the world comes from the (almost) perfect union between science and art: just as the interaction of atoms is allowed by a chemical bond that allows the creation of molecules, in the same way he shapes the rhythm of his set by assembling heterogeneous sonorities.
The result of both processes is the same: release of energy.
The set he gave us is the forest that is subdued by the darkness of the night and by the sound of his records: it's our trees that make room for themselves in the night, dancing.
It's so easy, with Simon Oak, to already feel at the Komorebi Music Festival.
