MIST007 - V/A - Well of Sand

The internet loves a good music recommendation, and we couldn't agree more. We wouldn't have the constant stream of fresh music we share without people turning us on to new artists. It's a never-ending cycle of discovery.

Today's premiere, "Freezing Point" by Warsaw producer bijū, exemplifies this perfectly. This track and his upcoming "phase transition" EP were, in a way, influenced by the music we showcase here at Delayed. 
"Freezing Point" lands in our dark, halftime, and experimental wheelhouse. bijū's playful arrangement takes you on a journey, incorporating eerie and even sinister synth lines over a hypnotic halftime groove. 

"phase transition" EP will be self-released on March 31.

A fierce introduction to the world of Oomycota, Confluence is the debut long form release presented by Naarm based bluhol (aka Loïcc).

Building upon bluhol’s debut liveset performed at Minutiae Festival, held on Wiradjuri Land in NSW during the new year cycle 23. 

Confluence represents a conscious shift in the Australian electronica soundscape, drawing deep inspiration from the vast bush land lining the eastern coast and paying homage to the unique nature and phenomenons that exist there.

"Delphæ" is our 4th iteration of a series that started in 2022 and allows each De la...je l'espère resident to take the lead in curating a compilation, inviting artists of their choice.

This V/A is a direct continuation of Fatale Furylax's commitment to promoting people who are underrepresented in today's electronic music scene, which is why she decided to invite only women and producers from gender minorities.

It brings together artists who have inspired and influenced her musically, with a bass, breakbeat, textural and ambient aesthetic.
