Premiere: Morphing Territories - Trance Towers

Today's premiere is a beautifully written emotion accompanying the inception of a new day produced by Artos Eleven, the alias of Arthur Bðhl from Avignon, and Lyon-based Emiliano Germain, aka Ethernet. Amadis is a closing track on the intriguing Artos Eleven's first "Decayed Tree" EP coming out on the French Melifera Records label. Inspired by the surrounding flora and fauna of southeastern France's landscapes, the four-track EP features different tempos and remixes from Forest on Stasys and Eyvind Blix.

Amadis is a rare case of the sublime interpretation of those peaceful early mornings full of harmony and quietness, properly saturated in intensely positive vitality. Unharried in sensual awakening with dreamlike, meditative stimuli, the track does its fascinating magic in instilling hope, gently nourishing the spirit, and setting an ascending tone ahead.

PREMIERE: Artos Eleven feat. Ethernet - Amadis [Melifera Records]

We are always looking forward to the next release from one of our favorite labels, Oslated. No surprise, the upcoming Various Artists compilation - Chimhyangmoo 침향무 is another fantastic addition to their already impressive catalog. “Chimhyangmoo” means dancing in the smoke that rises while burning the noble incense of ‘Agarwood.’ Sixteen tracks in this collection cover a broad spectrum of the ultimate dancing experience - from a profoundly hypnotic inner state to an intrinsic energetic boost.  

In“Pattern Of Wounds,” a fellow South Korean producer and member of the ASANA Industry collective, Pseudobaul, creates a tangible, dimly glowing cinematographic narrative.

Like a chronicle of an even-paced drifting through the thickness of an immense matter that follows a fascinating pattern of an underground vein. Soft clatter fluctuates in the background tension relics; rhythmic echo-humming interferes with alternating droplets, blobs, and subtle rumbling. Meditating towards deeper stratum, at some point, it takes respite in a beautifully still lacuna till continuing along with a mother lode.

Over the last few years, Scottish label, Bulletdodge has gradually manoeuvred itself in the realms of electronica, indie dance and beyond. Their latest release, a new EP by Phelan Kane takes a turn towards shades of Electro.

Phelan Kane is a Berlin and London based music producer, engineer, artist, developer and educator. For over twenty years he has been active in both the music industry and the contemporary music education sector. His specialism is sound design and production techniques such as synthesis and sampling, alongside audio engineering, mixing, mastering, audio processing and plug-in development. His credits and clients include sources as diverse as Radiohead, Fad Gadget, Placebo, Moby, Ableton, Mute, The British Film Institute, Island, PIAS, Channel 4, Beggars Banquet, Boy George, Sony BMG, Universal, EMI and Warner Bros to name just a few! In 2001 Kane worked closely with pioneering synth artist, Fad Gadget a.k.a. Frank Tovey, playing an instrumental part in his support on Depeche Mode’s 2001 Exciter tour and as part of the Fad Gadget band, performing at Euro Rock and Wembley Arena.

Focusing on his solo work, he delivers four new tracks for Bulletdodge to form his ‘Interlacing EP’ which is backed by remixes from Werner Niedermeier, Inhmost, and Stockton And Malone.

Like an auditory blanket on a cold morning, certain producers have almost a calming effect with their music. Providing a sense of warmth, or security with their melodies as they flow through to the listener. Being the soundtrack of so many mornings for myself and others at the Delayed HQ, today we’re happy to premiere Lowdown from Inhmost’s forthcoming ‘Green Space’ release on Stasis Recordings.

Grounded in a series of field recordings, the aptly named release embodies as the label puts, ‘a tranquil hike thru [sic] boreal forests and nomadic wetlands.’ With bubbling brooks and the soft sounds of birds chirping in the distance, there’s something magical about a pairing between the electronic, and natural realms. Lowdown develops at it’s own pace, swelling with wind-like pads that fill the voids left by the stream below. Building to a nice crescendo towards the end before gracefully fading into the mists.

Lowdown, and in turn the rest of Green Space will be released on cassette via Stasis Recordings November 2nd, 2021.

e O is the shared moniker of sibling artists eleu and Olson, whose debut self-titled album ‘e O’ arrives as a beautifully blurred portrait of two inner worlds colliding. Raised on parallel but distinct soundtracks, their collaboration captures the hazy overlap of childhood memory and present-day influence—filtered through a language all of their own.

The record shimmers at the edges of genre, folding together fragments of ambient pop, left-field R&B, experimental electronics, and traces of shoegaze. Olson’s production is built from gently layered textures that ricochet and swell, creating a sense of movement that feels both precise and ineffable, while eleu navigates the album with intimate, delicate vocals. It’s music that feels like stepping into a dream already in progress.

e O draws from a palette of softness and distortion, of digital haze and real-world textures, echoing those in-between hours where clarity and feeling drift in and out of focus. A work of intuition and subtle transformation, this is a debut that doesn't introduce itself loudly—but lingers long after.
