Just over a year after the release of Boaksi's acclaimed album "I Thought It Was Yesterday" on Zürich-based label Project Indigo, the imprint returns with an exciting remix collection that showcases a diverse array of talent like Lawrence, noc:turne, Louf, Jvxta, Soela and Al Zanders reimagining the original tracks. 

Our premiere for today is a remix of the title track by Lost In Translation co-founder noc:turne. The remix maintains the atmospheric beauty of the original, characterized by lush pads and a gorgeous melody that carries the listener on a journey. What sets this interpretation apart is noc:turne's meticulous use of percussion – crisp hi-hats punctuate the track, adding an evolving sense of tension that builds throughout. As the remix unfolds, a subtle acid sequence emerges in the track's final stretch, masterfully interwoven to create a mesmerizing listening experience.

Boaksi's "I Thought It Was Yesterday (remixes)" is scheduled for release on September 15 via Project Indigo.

PREMIERE: Boaksi - I Thought It Was Yesterday (noc:turne remix) [Project Indigo]

The dog days of summer are upon us here in Brooklyn, as the heat is making itself known. To match these sultry afternoons and nights, we look to Pango aka Pascal Bauer and the Zurich based collective, Project Indigo for the perfect musical companion. The four track EP titled, ‘Ahlea’ includes a nice variation of tracks that shows off Pango’s adeptness at creating emotive moments through a few different means. From the breakish ‘if you were’, fast-paced ‘foppettas’ through to the deep grooves of the title track ahlea, and in turn our premiere for today, namesake.

From the get go, Pango establishes a melodic introduction that sets the mood for what's to come — a journey into deep, soulful vibes. The swirling pads tugging at the heartstrings, bringing all the warmth and good feelings. Throughout the track these elements weave in and out, accompanied by a swinging percussion line, and a steady 4/4 kick that innately will keep your head nodding along. 

Namesake and the rest of the ‘ahlea’ release will be out on Project Indigo the 12th of July.

Will You joins the roster of Philipp Priebe’s Stólar this February with his ‘Is It 2 Late?’ EP accompanied by remixes from Lb Honne and Orion. Producer, DJ and Oleeva Records label boss Will You has been slowly unveiling his take on contemporary deep house and dub-tinged techno over the past few years via solo material and remixes on his own imprint and most recently a remix of Philipp Priebe’s ‘Movements In An Empty Department Store’ on Stólar. Here we see Will You returning to the latter aforementioned imprint with his latest EP. Leading the release is ‘Santé’, a six and a half minute excursion through snaking sub bass tones, a crisp, shuffled rhythm section, dreamy synth chimes, squelchy 303 licks and spoken word vocal lines. Title-cut ‘Is It 2 Late’ follows next and deviates into more dubbed out territory via expansive, unfurling echoes, cinematic atmospherics and robust, intricate percussion. Opening the flip-side is Zurich’s Lb Honne’s interpretation of ‘Is It 2 Late’, the Project Indigo artist extracts the essence of the original and reshapes it into a subtly nuanced, loop-led and hypnotic workout. Italian duo Orion then conclude the package with their take on ‘Santé’, reshaping the original with their signature deep techno style, fuelled by grainy textural components and bumpy saturated drums.
