Chicago-based artist Sherm has never stopped his relentless pursuit to create and influence since his start in 2014. His artistry and passion has given him global recognition for his accomplishments in the music industry as a DJ, Producer, A&R and Podcast Host. 

Sherm's undeniable ability to entertain is what sets him apart. He has a 360 degree skillset including performing in front of thousands at festivals, producing memorable dance music, hosting live podcasts, signing chart-topping tracks, and moderating engaging panels. 

As a DJ, Sherm has performed in major markets including San Francisco, Denver, San Diego, NYC, and Miami. Sherm has supported artists like Armin Van Buuren, Galantis, John Summit, Matroda, ACRAZE, Lost Kings, Gorgon City, Cash Cash, Shiba San, Bijou, and Walker and Royce. He has also performed at festivals including North Coast, Volleywood, Home Bass, and Amsterdam Dance Event. 

Sherm also acts as A&R for Hood Politics Records, where he has had massive influence on the label’s identity and future trajectory. The San Diego-based record label founded by DJ Susan has signed artists such as John Summit, Franky Wah, Chapter & Verse, Max Styler, Wenzday, Cloverdale, Return of the Jaded, and Jake Shore. 

With 200+ episodes released to date, his podcast Sherm In The Booth has featured global touring acts including CID, Westend, Autograf, Honeyluv, Roland Clark, Parker Cohen, LA Riots, Masteria and many more. 

With Sherm's influence growing in so many aspects of the music industry, it's clear that he is just getting started.

Westend has emerged as one of house music's most promising artists. The New York native's ever-expanding sonic footprint was instrumental in drafting the blueprint for the sound of modern tech house and helped usher in an era that has seen American artists once again push to the forefront of dance music culture.

As a teenager during the blog house era, he fell in love with the sounds of artists like MSTRKRFT, The Bloody Beetroots, and Justice. Compelled to replicate those groundbreaking sounds, he dove head first into production classes at the Bronx High School of Science, the alma mater of famed synth engineer Robert Moog. 

His ability to remain on the leading edge while staying true to the roots of house music has created peak dancefloor moments for ravers across the globe and led to releases on esteemed imprints like Repopulate Mars, Insomniac, Armada, and D4 D4NCE. As one of Beatport's top ten best-selling tech house producers, hit records like 2021's "Jumpin'"—with fellow New Yorker CID—have not only spent weeks dominating the top of the charts, they've landed into the crates of MK, Diplo, Lee Foss, John Summit, and Sonny Fodera. 

Each passing year brings breakthrough moments. In 2022 he collaborated with Latin house kingpin, HUGEL, and Cumbiafrica on "Aguila," which sat in the top ten for staggering eight weeks. In 2023 he collaborated with longtime friend Noizu on the rave-tinged anthem "Push To Start," which quickly rocketed to peak positions on the tech house and overall chart.

And while he continues to climb the charts, he's also been a faithful steward of the producer community leading the Kick and Bass network, where he shares his vast production knowledge with several hundred budding producers. 

Beyond his production prowess, Westend crisscrosses the country, regularly performing at festivals and clubs from EDC and CRSSD to Shambhala and The Brooklyn Mirage. In 2023 he made his first forays onto the international scene with gigs in Liverpool and a coveted slot on Insomniac's kineticFIELD at EDC Mexico.

Westend's creativity is constantly expanding. His plans for the coming year include launching his label in late 2023 and embarking on his first solo headline tour. His remarkable journey from throwing micro-raves for New York high schoolers to headlining festival stages exemplifies how the DIY spirit of dance music continues to permeate the culture.

Formerly known as Auptima, we culminated as a rogue coalescence of three electrified individuals prepared to depart on a lifelong journey through the eclectic passages of musical exploration. Now, 8 years deep, this mission has manifested in countless underground tracks planted within the sediments of independent underground hip-hop. The group consists of Gidon, Alvino, and AA Ant- three freestyle legends, ballistic slap bandits, and holistic healers. We create independent music with no strings attached. Every song is self produced, recorded, and written. We aim to propagate positive, constructive, and seductive messages into airwaves typically littered with candy wrappers and leftover feces. Listen to it, enjoy it, drop it, and never stop it. Feel free to hate, as cynics inspire creative evolution, but keep in mind that unchecked negativity indicates a prematurely developed cerebral cortex and mental deformity.
