City Lights is the sophomore album from Max Cruise with nine original tracks inspired by the sounds and vibe of the '80s from up-tempo synth pop and synthwave-esque instrumental numbers to powerful heartfelt ballads. This release features the vocal talents of Pat DiMeo (The Motion Epic), Alessandra Gonzalez and guitar extraordinaire Jesse "Sparkee" Allen.

Produced by Benjamin Harrison and Alessandra Gonzalez, the album was mixed by Ben Wood at Delta King Studios and mastered by Ben Feggans at Studios 301 in Sydney, Australia.

Max Cruise is a project by Australian multi-instrumentalist producer Benjamin Harrison combining his deep love of the nostalgic synth-driven sounds of the '80s with modern production values and epic saxophone/guitar solos.

The idea for Slow Run came while jamming in my home studio, making different beats with my daughter, who was listening and sharing her impressions.
But it fully came to life during a trip to the desert with my wife and kids.
The inspiration was everywhere—the desert colors, the sound of the wind, the tranquility of the night sky full of stars.
All of these deeply influenced the sound and tempo of the track.
Listening to Slow Run in the desert completes the whole picture.

Este álbum es como tu amigo 'emo' que nunca sale de casa pero tiene luces LED: muy cool, un poco triste, y siempre te hace sentir cosas. Imagina caminar bajo la lluvia 🌧️ en una ciudad cyberpunk mientras escuchas un cassette viejo 💿 que suena a 'como si un robot 🤖 se emborrachara de café descafeinado'. Tiene ese 'no sé qué' de estática ⚡, neones parpadeando 💡 y un bajo que te susurra 'no te preocupes, todo va a estar bien... probablemente' 😌.

Es el soundtrack ideal para:
