Hi! I'm a Sound Technician, wannabe Sound Designer and I dabble in composition as well.

My purpose is to pay homage to the post-minimalistic, post-rock and post-neo-dialectal materialist way of life. (Duh).

Cutting their teeth on the local scene, the fast-rising five-piece has gone on to sell out a raft of hometown shows, and festival appearances, scoring support slots with the likes of King Gizzard & The Lizard Wizard, Spacey Jane, Skeggs, Spiderbait and more. 

Destrends stirs anticipation as they offer fans the first taste of their debut album, teasing with the release of their latest single Mindfulness. This heavy hitting track is the band's first since their critically acclaimed EP, Wasteland (2020) which cleverly tapped into the political pulse of its era. Mindfulness sets the stage for Destrends’ comeback, ushering listeners into a realm where raw emotion meets refined musicality. This track marks the beginning of a captivating story, one that delves into the intricate dynamics of Savage and Watts’ queer relationship.
