eighteen months in the making; This time of the year when the weather turns slightly lovely, day after day, and is missing only one month to the birthday celebration. Cooking alongside friends, opening a fruity white wine, and cheering once again together to life. ⁠

Ivan Minuti - L'Aperitivan No.12  (11.09.22)

The project "Flow Signs" was born by the encounter of Francesco Giannico, electroacoustic musician and video artist, with Theo Allegretti, ambient-jazz pianist and composer, based on a common poetic and musical sensibility that favors natural landscapes, surreal environments and rich interior scenarios, such as particular places from which emerge suggestions that would provide a different view also of our daily life worlds. 

The flow can catapult us into a mental state of conscious unawareness, as though being swept away by a current of water and similarly Francesco Giannico (laptop, field recordings, objects, guitar) and Theo Allegretti (grand piano, prepared piano), with such an expressive approach, create a single cinematic and visionary stream. 

The intuitive, improvised and atypical use of the piano, dropped within ambient and minimal atmospheres and enriched by contemporary jazz strokes, moves hovering always on the lookout for a blend with the interventions brought into play by the other artist that are realized in real-time reprocessing of sound material, distended atmospheres created thanks to the help of pads, glitch, rattles, squeaks and sounds of memory.

Acre è un trio - Ermanno Baron, Ginomaria Boschi e Marco 'uBiK' Bonini - di improvvisazione che lavora su forme, figure e luoghi della musica e dell’ascolto. Il suono del gruppo è costituito da alcune riconoscibili influenze musicali e dal modo in cui queste vengono messe in gioco e lasciate 'interferire': la matrice jazzistica della pratica improvvisativa, l’elaborazione in tempo reale dei suoni sintetici, la ricerca timbrica e gestuale mutuata dalla musica 'colta' occidentale. 

Attraverso queste coordinate di riferimento il 'libero gioco' del gruppo resta sempre aperto a nuove modulazioni e configurazioni. Uno degli obiettivi del gruppo è quello di lavorare su una dimensione unitaria del suono che sia in grado di fondere e amalgamare i timbri dei differenti strumenti (laptop, chitarra, batteria) in una nuova sintesi rendendo indistinguibili le loro singole 'voci': la fonte dei suoni resta sempre dubbia e incerta quando si cerca di isolarla dal 'gomitolo' dentro cui è intrecciata.

Ivan Minuti presents Maybe After Dinner 21

Let's Celebrate the last Maybe After Dinner. 
It was a podcast concept i started three years back, with the idea to find a way to stay connect with person more I love overseas. 
The idea to give those friends something to enjoy not only into the night, but also early in the morning, on the beach, on the weekend or only something to listen in the car. The results is 21 sessions recorded with such huge passion, through more than five hundred dj set in the latest three years. 
Maybe After Dinner was designed especially for late night / early morning moments for myself, when senses are more dynamic and lights. This concept today reach the final step, understanding is time to move on in something different, "Something More Sophisticated" that will be the title of the nu concept series coming next fall. It's time to thank you everyone who loved those tracks, support me, text me, wishing a great summer, cool vibes and positive energy.

Ps. Last song is collaboration between me and the eternal friend Stefania Seoni develop together. Is a Mash-up between a poem from Charles Bukowski on a instrumental track from Lindstrom. This poem called "Style" is a present to all the person far that I admire and unfortunately i don't see for a long time.

Picasso is sketching at a park. A woman walks by, recognizes him, and begs for her portrait. Somehow, he agrees. A few minutes later, he hands her the sketch. She is elated, excited about how wonderfully it captures the very essence of her character, what beautiful work it is, and asks how much she owes him. “5000 francs, madam,” says Picasso. The woman is incredulous, outraged, and asks how that’s even possible given it only took him 5 minutes. Picasso looks up and, without missing a beat, says: “No, madam, it took me my whole life, plus 5 minutes".
