After spending hours compiling lyrical ideas from book titles, and listening to the unlikely combo of Kissed by a Rose & Feel Good Inc, the birth of Hideaway began. Written about fantasizing a getaway with a lover & the struggle to convince them that being with you is more fun than being with their friends, the song is carried by it’s gorillaz-esque bass groove with haunting & mysterious vocal melodies. All coming together to create a song that is cryptic and unique, yet nostalgic and familiar.

This EP was recorded from the months of April to July at the Acid Pad in DFW Texas.
