Andy Caldwell is a three-time GRAMMY-nominated electronic artist, in-demand songwriter and producer, and world-touring DJ who’s left an indelible mark on dance music for more than two decades. A key architect of the deep house sound, the San Francisco-born, Los Angeles-based artist has forever impacted the global house and dance underground via his multiple projects from his days as part of the innovative live house act Soulstice to his tastemaker record label, Uno Recordings and his timeless sound. Now entering his next creative era, Caldwell continues to push dance music culture to new ground as an artist, producer, entrepreneur and forward-thinking innovator. 

Caldwell is inextricably linked to San Francisco's underground rave movement of the early '90s, a scene and sound he shaped as a then-burgeoning solo artist, first via his breakthrough 1994 solo single "Superfunkidiculous," and later as a founding member of Soulstice, his groundbreaking live house group alongside childhood friend Gabriel Rene. As Soulstice, Caldwell crafted moody downtempo electronic music that mixed elements of jazz, soul and trip-hop in a live-DJ hybrid format. The group released three influential albums on seminal San Francisco imprint Om Records: the critically acclaimed Illusion (2001) and its accompanying remix album, Mixed Illusions (2001), and In the Light (2011). The Soulstice sound, today considered a permanent part of San Francisco's dance music history and musical DNA, solidified the group as one of the first acts in the U.S. to mix live performance and recording elements atop an electronic framework. 

Bolstered by the keen production, songwriting and remixing skills he adopted via his commercial and creative breakthrough with Soulstice, Caldwell has since become one of the most sought-after artists and producers in the scene. As a solo artist, he's built an impressive, genre-expansive body of work, which includes his debut album, Universal Truth (2006, Om Records), and his follow-up full-length, Obsession (2009, Uno Recordings/Tommy Boy Records). He's also released multiple original tracks, remixes and EPs on some of the leading electronic labels of the day, including Ultra Records, Toolroom, Yoshitoshi and Naked Music, among others, in addition to various compilations and DJ mix albums. 

Beyond his original music, Caldwell is a multifaceted tastemaker and innovative entrepreneur.  He founded his trendsetting imprint, Uno Recordings. In addition to releasing his own music, Uno Recordings has helped launch the careers of electronic heavyweights like Wolfgang Gartner, Trentemoller, Behrouz, Yoshimoto and many others.

Most recently, Caldwell launched IO Music Academy, a pioneering boutique music production school based in Los Angeles. IO Music Academy provides a high-quality, artist-centric curriculum focused on engaging music education, boundless creativity and cutting-edge technology. The school, which hosts regular free workshops and masterclasses with electronic legends and rising artists like ZHU, Justin Jay, Sharam, Sultan + Shepard and others, is today ushering in the next generation of producers and artists. IO Music Academy has partnered with and presented at world-class music and tech conferences, including Winter Music Conference, across the years.

Caldwell is scheduled to release an album project featuring all-new music in 2021.

The original ‘GirlOnWax’ DJ Leanne is proud to celebrate 3 decades of DJing House Music! She spins House in many forms: Jackin' to funky, dirty, Deep (always bass-line friendly) & Vocal Tech House; her true passion! In 2023 she DJ'ed opening sets for some of her House Music heroes: DJ Sneak, DJ Heather & Derrick Carter. She had the honour of spinning on The Living Room stage at The Shambhala Music Festival (2022) and The Groove Cruise Miami (2020 & 2019). Over the course of her DJ career this far, Leanne has spun opening sets for Kaskade, Mark Farina, Kenny Glasgow, DJ Jazzy Jeff, Boy George, Armand Van Helden, Roy Davis Jr , Felix Da Housecat & Miguel Migs, to name a few. 
She has held over 10 nightclub DJ residencies in Vancouver & Victoria at The Lotus Sound Lounge, Shine, Celebrities Nightclub, Hush & Sonar Cabaret. 
In 2000 she created Western Canada’s first DJ School 'The Rhythm Institute'. Leanne's taught 500+ students with her carefully curated 'DJ 101' curriculum at several DJ Schools & workshops in the Lower Mainland including 'Table Tutors' & 'School of Mix'. Leanne began her DJ career in broadcasting and has produced & hosted the popular underground House Music radio shows 'Fresh Air' (2000-2003) & 'GirlOnWax Radio' (2013-2017). You can catch her vocals on tracks by House Music producers Jay Tripwire, Buck & Taho + she's co-produces + sings vocals with Mostly Yoshi. 
DJ Leanne is currently the CEO of the critically acclaimed DJ company 'GirlOnWax Entertainment' where she manages talented DJs & Musicians with a mainly female DJ & Musician roster. DJ Leanne Career Highlights: Opening DJ set for The Red Hot Chili Peppers; DJ’ing for Sarah McLachlan on the Lilith Fair tour '98, DJ'ing an event for the Prime Minister, Prince William & Kate Middleton and private events for celebrities like Jennifer Aniston, David Beckham & Goldie Hawn.

 Recipe for a Funky Hebegebe Stew.

First thing to remember when preparing this stew, is that you don’t have to use all new ingredients for this to come out tasting Fresh.
Don’t be scared to dig deep in the cupboard for some old spices and funky leftovers. 
Take One Ripe old Dj and season for 25 years. Remove the crust and only use the doughy soft bits. 
Break some beats open and add generously.
Then this is where the recipe gets fun. Here you add Funk, Soul, Hip Hop, Disco and House. Don’t be scared to mix it up and you can never have too much of one and not enough of the other. The best part of this recipe is that it’s never the same and always come out just right. 
Then Heat to desired temperature. Can be enjoyed hot or cool. 
Best enjoyed with a shot of Tequila and an Ice cold beer.
