With a musical style that channels the raw energy of Chris Cornell, Soundgarden, Alice In Chains, Slash and AC/DC, along with influences from Guns N' Roses, Gary Moore, Hendrix, and SRV, his music is a powerful blend of intensity and finesse.

While firmly planted in hard rock, ©Crackerjack occasionally explores folk and acoustic sounds, adding depth and variety to his work.  ©CrackerJack handles all mastering, production and performing as well as playing all the instruments, other than drums, which he is soon to learn . Whilst his vocals are not the strongest, he sings with integrity, honesty and passion.

His discography includes several singles and a standout 5-track EP titled 'Life Stories,' which features everything from the driving rhythm of 'Husk' to the heartfelt ballad 'A Love Untold.'

This is a place where i wish to share some pieces of music i have recorded over the last 20 yrs. I was in the political indie rock group Easterhouse then changed scene somewhat with Parchman adding groove based arrangements. I also helped to produce a couple of tunes by the techno pioneers Zero Zero. I have also achieved a certain notoriety by becoming briefly involved with Morrissey following the departure of Johnny Marr! Since then i have had a few sporadic engagements with playing out but have always maintained a passion for music both as a fan and composer. Here you will find a variety of tunes that tend towards the ambient / electronic or gtr instrumental. Occasionally i will throw in a rocker from the past for amusement or enlightenment. I have hesitated to share my music with others for many years but with the amazing tools available on the web now (also the industry i now work in) i have decided to take the plunge.
