IZZI (a.k.a. "MEMPHIS IZZI") is a Singer-Songwriter and Recording Artist born and raised in the home of the Blues, Rock-n-Roll and Soul music (Memphis, TN). Also hanging her hat in Nashville since 2014, as well some earlier years in NYC, she has been diversely influenced by numerous genres and musical styles from around the world. Her songs span "Indie", "Roots-Rock", "Americana", "Folk-Pop", while also bringing back a new sound, coined as "Memphis-Poppin, Rockabilly-Blues".

Her original music has a very fresh and unexpected vibe to it, song after song! She showcases unique lyricism and a melodic voice that manages to bridge a delicate sense of vulnerability with emotional and raw songs like "Forever Lovers", "Foster Love" and "Hey Joe (Where'd Ya Go?)", to more Roots-Rocking and Soulful songs like "Ready and Willing to Fly" (EP Title Track) and "What am I supposed to do?" and "I'm gonna love you". "Red Dress" is a real audience favorite and fun-filled "Memphis Poppin, Rockabilly-Blues" tune. She effortlessly crosses over in a so many fresh ways with each and every one of her songs.

In 2019, IZZI acquired another homestead back in the Memphis metro area to be both closer to her family and to reunite with her true musical roots that were calling her to the sounds and the soul of Memphis! She also maintains her life in her second home, Nashville, TN where she can be found showcasing her original music across the cities' songwriter venues. IZZI is increasingly excited to work on her craft in 2022, in both of her two cities that she calls home. She is especially eager to submerge herself in the great musicians, artists and songwriters whom she most admires in her hometown of MEMPHIS!! Future collaborations in Memphis? Future collaborations in Nashville? Stay tuned too see and hear...but IZZI ask that you please be patient, as she just got engaged to her Memphis-based soulmate in December 2021 and is working on wedding plans for 2022!
